Thought I'd give the Awesome a little bit of Wolf Spider Battalion care and attention, similar to Black Widow Company but toned down on the red and amount.

I only have one critique, something rarely do. I don't wish to overstep my bounds, as I'm appreciative of everyone making repaints! They're always so great!

The cockpit could use some color, and I mean just the glass/viewport. I feel it's too dark, and needs to be lightened/altered to make it stand out a bit more. Looks like someone chopped off the 'mechs head (headless horseman repaint anyone?) and left it the rest.

Cheers Jack, appreciate the feedback. I did try using a brighter red for the cockpit glass, but I wasn't so keen on the look it gave the mech so changed it back to the dark red, I was trying to maintain the feeling of a dark brooding monster of horrific destructive power, potentially gone too dark though lol I'll have a tinker with it and see what happens

Yea, I always forget that I'm not there with the actual 'mech file open to see how any changes might look. Wouldn't want things to detract from the overall repaint, or have the cockpit become too much of a focus on the paint scheme. Too light would probably not be the best idea....maybe try a different color? Blue can still be quite dark, look natural on a battlemech, and fit with the overall color scheme since the ppc barrels have blue on them too. Might give a nice little contrast to bring everything together.

Only a suggestion, I'm sure whatever you end up doing will be quite Awesome.

I kind of like the horns actually gives a bit more menacing look I feel.

I found this new Marauder pic online by one of my favorite DeviantArt Artists Shimmering-Sword.
I removed the background and marked it up for my personal use. Even though it isn't cannon here yet, I like this redesign.
