It took me three hours to look at everyone's repaints. Very impressed. Big fan of all the work here.

I continue my quest for the classic Raven. Darker, with pointed beak.

EDIT: more uniform "stealthy" color, more visible NARC.

Well before becoming a Merc, I used to be a Steiner, so in honour of my heritage I did a few quick repaints in my favourite Steiner unit, 36th Lyran Guards.

Alternatively - this is the truest of all Mercenaries fighting and advertising all at once.

Are we really on page 99 of an epic thread? Heck then we are close to a historical moment here... Are we? This warrants some fan fiction update (in the context of repaints of course).

"Ironhawk's log, May 4th, 3049.

There is a sign. The wind has turned. A sign of feud... war perhaps. FedSun forces have claimed all 'Mech production factories on the planet to shift builds in accordance to new specs. Unfortunately our little paint shop did not escape the long tentacles of Davion intelligence. In compliance to immediate summons this afternoon, I went to Gov offices downtown to retrieve the latest prod specs. The Paintshop is to cease production immediately and start preparing the prod line for new 'Mechs within 48 hours. Needless to say these will require a different production process, with different colors, and will bear the FedCom 'fist against the sun backdrop' insignia.

Little did they know that my Atlas Hunters anticipated this. We had a Capellan repaint contract underway. We do not tolerate unfinished business. And we are true to our word. We ALWAYS deliver.

While I was downtown, my team smuggled our half finished work to someplace safe. To someone who owed us. To someone with the contacts and resources to complete this 'Mech repaint delivery on our behalf. He should receive it tonight. And given his reputation, he will deliver quality.

My guys may think after this, Col. Hayden and I will be even. But with the risk I am asking him to take given the circumstances, I will be in his debt."

While noone (except Hayden's Liao work) has anything to do, I would like to suggest a good color scheme for any mech you'll see fit (besides Atlas  ). The paint scheme would be 3rd Canopian Fusiliers: Pirate Hunters scheme (link), which looks so good and they will become our allies in time. :(

Basically, if someone likes to help reach the 100th page with some good, while not always hard and pretty nice repaint, I suggest you make a Magistracy repaint, since they have some decent colour schemes, which look so good, yet noone made them yet. :P

Trying out some ideas for custom livery for my merc unit that might never exist . If that smiley breaks the TOS I'll post a version without it.

Truly awesome - my thought with the smiley would be to put a normal one of the missile cover and have the 'bird' variant on the inside so it is visible when the over is open. :P

Dude fron Down Under, the inspiration for this 'Mech was here: http://www.camospecs...ure.asp?ID=5475

Aside from Atlas Hunters, I try to remain close to camospecs if I can. Such a great site. Miniature painters are like the unsung heroes of another era... Our Star League in a way!

Cheers!

Yeah, I generally try to stick to it as well (though I'll confess to taking liberties now and then). My one beef about Camo specs is that they don't cover a lot of other eras, like there's very little before the mid 3060s :P

Correct Colonel. For instance, Houses White Tiger and Rakshasa were created in the 3060s so we will not see these camos in game... http://www.sarna.net.../Warrior_Houses

Well let me say that I much prefer your schema to the sample you linked to.

That's a good idea, when I redo the livery (i'm gonna try to use a pattern maker in photoshop to try and get a more camo feel) I think I will make than change. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have certainly settled on the three color yellow, white, and brown theme they blend well together.
