Nice and simple. You might want to add a few details here and there, but that's just me and I haven't painted a mini of that size in my life, so...

since i work on my one project i have done nothing MWO-related stuff but i found a screen, that i forgot to share with you. This is a screen of my prefered "3d-painting-prog".
For those are interested how i do these thing. I use Blender/Gimp and a (in my opinion) very, very powerfull and cheap prog called 3d-coat http://3d-coat.com/. Atm it cost for privat use 79 Euro! You can get notinh better in this kind for this price and can try it 30 days for free.
edit:
First i import the models to a 3d-app (like blender, max, maya) in this progs i do a fast color-ground an bake this ground to texture.
Then i take the baked texture to gimp/ps to do rough details, colorcorrections and so on.
After that i import the model/textures in 3d-coat.
In this app i do the most final details, paint speec, and some aditionel normal. Because in 3d-coat i can aply the normal to the model an can directly paint on the model that show me the normal.
Then i overlay the additionell normal to the main-normal and export all the textures.
Then i take all to gameengines unreal/cryengine and make a screen ready
I would love to see what the real artist here can do with this prog !!! Maybe you give it a try?

I didn't undestand this part. Color Ground? Bake the texture? What's this and how do you do it?
For my project i have done a new youtube-channel and for quality-test i have done a tiny video for you, it shows one way to do a fast colour-layout in blender and bake it to texture.

Enif, 3039: 2 medium lasers and a prototype Narc Beacon
Luthien, 3067: Still a Narc Beacon, but now sporting a pair of Light PPCs.
Arcturus, 3072: Now carrying 4 medium lasers and an LRM 20. Based on Hyena's mini here: http://camospecs.com...ure.asp?ID=4210

Alright... Pinning with a vengeance: because as per canon their paint scheme did not inspire me for a bit, the Crater Cobras have been a headache for me for some time, which is why I chose the easy way out with Burr's Black Cobras (which didn't exist yet in 2050). The lower torso and legs are painted in forest camo while the upper part of the 'Mech is to be painted in 'robin egg blue'... I mean: ooookay.
But after Hayden's super ridgeline scheme for the AH, I figured: "wait a minute..." and decided to give the 2050 Cobras a try. And worked out on some brand new insignia work to dress 'em up. (see Unit Insignia thread for detailed view)
On Camospecs.com, Dak gave 'em a shot and it gave something like this:
I am still not satisfied with the result but here goes nothing:

OK, what I'm after isn't quite colourised MWO concept art, but something similar. What i'm after is a recolour of the Mad Cat Mk IV from the front cover of ER3145 (image in link) in Jade Falcon Delta Galaxy colours (ie, green with a yellow/gold trim, again as per link)
Thanks in advance

Anyone suspect a Highlander Hero Mech come April? Anyway I think this would make a great Hero mech; A Star League Royal Black Watch (3rd)Regiment Highlander 732b.
I bring it up in case any of you were looking for inspiration for your next drawing project. Plaid and Mechs = Beer!
