Not wanting to sound ungrateful (the Clan mechs are all gorgeous) but in the same lines of previous opinions in this thread, here is my take on the Thor/Summoner.
Taller body; thinner cockpit; shorter, more pod-like PPC barrel.
(I hope Alex Iglesias reconsider the mech design and make some minor adjustments)

DId not notice. Fair question. However, i reply with another question.
How would you paint particles?
BTW, IS lasers are supposed to be red while only large lasers are green. This to further differentiate them from Clan weapons, probably. In MW4 this was reflected.

Correction, only in MW3 and MW4 did that exist. In all prior games the color of the laser was entirely dependant on the caliber of the laser. To be completely and absolutely true to the lore, the laser color should actually be invisible, with the colored lines only being afterimages that get temporarily burned into your retina before the ferroglass can autofilter the light levels.

I think they based this colors on the wavelength: red for cheaper, higher wavelength lasers; green for the intermediary; and blue for the more expensive, lower wavelength.

Correct, but remember,.. In MW2 there were only Clan lasers (i cannot speak for Mercs however). If we count it we could say in all the past MechWarrior games from MW2 to MW4 the Inner Sphere small & med lasers were red while their large are green AND the Clan small is red, med is green and large is blue. In MW4 and MWLL they even had to add heavy lasers which are yellow.

In MW2 and MW2GBL you fight some IS mechs: all of them have the same color pattern of MW2M (and MWO): red for small, green for medium and blue for large lasers.
I'm currently playing MW3 and the colors are exactly like MW2.
About MW1, all lasers are yellow, as far as I remember.
PS: don't come with MW4 and MWLL: they are not really Mechwarrior games. ;P

Here, cool video of all the MW games.
PS: When I said MWLL was no real MW game it might sound depreciative. Sorry for that. I recognize the devs did an amazing work (better than most paid companies would do). I'm just too... purist to accept the changes in canon made by MW4 and MWLL... (and I will probably be very sad with what MWO will do to the Clan tech...)

It's a shame your repaints tempt me to buy that odd Clan bundle more than its actual value, I must resist
