The colour doesn't matter, it's just a distraction to hide the true abomination: a Capellan Shadow Hawk. I think we need to get a petition started to get Alex to change it. This cannot be allowed to stand.

Haven't you had a thought that Alex is actually...

I never thought of it as pink, lol. I see it more like a light brick red. Anwyay, in the preview it looked more reddish.

Really, it shouldn't read as pink. It's supposed to be more of a brick-red....

Pretty much this... pale red.
If it were pink, the parts "in the shadow" would look differently.

It's the perfect time to use this, but alas, there's no leftmost person 'round these parts to settle it once and for all.

But now seriously, when it comes to those colors, it's pale red at just around the middle of the red spectrum, the less brighter part you pick, the closer it gets to red with some orange mixed in, which means... yeah, Daviots can't into colors. :P

He's just a merc... although I can't disapprove the theory it was an inside job by the local colleague of CC origin (who can into colors, of course).

calling a color orchid is stupid....since orchids come in a huge array of colors. Just like women to ignore the details........

Women know about 5 shades for one color definition of ours.

A proper web designer knows all 256^3 (There are 3B of data in a single web color encoded in hex if I'm reading it correctly) of them... entirely different league, friend.

"ours". Because apparently if you are reading this, you mustn't be a woman. :)

Sorry Sparks... I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was just responding in context to the fact I was talking with Odanan.

and I am just busting on everyone and pretty much all the silly stereotypes out there.

Women, in general do "recognize" more colors, and shades, but in my experience are only slightly better at properly identifying them, unless they work in specific fields.

And some of the "color names" given are to me, pretty laughably bad.

Always best to base on the individual, not so much the group. (I can't name all the colors out there, but then, I haven't met the web designer who at a glance could, either. Web designer with their cheat sheet, maybe)

A cheat sheet that requires its own search engine.

Looking over the last couple of pages, I think I'm beginning to understand why there are no decent pink colours to paint mechs with in this game

looks good, really good. Even good hard points if it were a thing something like 4x energy and 3x missile? Two energy in each arm and I'll buy it.
