Well crap, I just finished my paint job on the Wolfhound and they go and fix the head. Oh well, here is my take in the Lost Patrol / Glasgow Banshee scheme until I can replace the head.
Combined work from the original concept art and Odanan's cleaned up template.

Good work. Did you use my template or you did your own?

BTW, the second pic could use some shadows, to add more realism.

Isn't Phelan Kell's "Grinner" supposed to have the teeth painted on in a grin, kinda like Heath Ledger's Joker?

Yes, he painted them on a standard Wolfhound. This is a hero mech, though, so it is actually designed into the geo. Welcome to the unlimited MWO economy ;)

I remember the teeth glowed in the IR vision or something. Weren't the teeth also made of some metal instead just painting?

A little request, from one artist to another :)

Could we see the standard and Resistance versions of Resistance 2 pack mechs side by side, for the sake of comparison? PGI seems to have removed all the artwork of standard versions, and they can't be found in the Gallery either.

Also, could I have the Resistance 2 mechs (Mauler, Wolfhound) painted up like the Battletech cartoon, with the Awesome 9M? Pretty please? With Somerset Strikers fist logo on?

Also, also can anyone identify the mech on the upper left? :)

Yep. So no matter what spectrum you used: Thermal, VisLight(Normal spectrum) MagScan (metal) The teeth would show visibly.

...ye gods. The Mauler is horribly plastic colored, the Wolfhound is enough off-model to look a bit dumb, and the battle armor is silly, but that AWS is so.....

Early 90s cartoons. It is decent if you go with other cartoons from back then. Not good but decent. I have enjoyed watching it then as a kid and now as a adult BT fan.

Lol. Reminds me of when MW3 has errors in running, the APCs fly high into the air, never come back, and at one point in the very first mission you can fall through the map to the bottom, and at some points in the bottom of that map, your legs hyper-extend all the way to the torso...

Mine, but I looked at your template for ideas. I'm learning how to do stuff and I like to get ideas from other artists.

So it looks like you cleaned up the original concept art exactly like I did (removed the subtle stripes). Even the pixels are matching.

I saved yours off as a PNG and cut and pasted some areas I couldn't clean up, but mostly I worked from the downloaded one and I referenced your template for ideas on layering. Its a patchwork to be sure but thats how I tend to do them. PNG over another PNG. I'm not up to your level yet on the multiple layers, still reading on that and wrapping my head around it.
If you want me to put your name on the post for some of the credit I don't mind, but I didn't use your template straight out of the box which I believe is what you are asking?

Paint over aluminum strips to keep the teeth always visible on any direct scan of the 'Mech.

You don't need to give credits for what you didn't use, just for my cleaned up version.

(I'm not getting payed for this work so the least I expect is the credit)

Updated the original post with credit for your contribution Odanan. Love your work, thanks for what you do for the online community.

Not really MWO art but I cleaned this up and I thought you guys might like to get copies.
The Griffin IIC has always been a personal favorite of mine, so when I got my hands on a large image of the Super Famicon game cover from way back in the day, I wanted to clean this up so others can enjoy it.
I gave it a new clean background of stars as well as a clear version if you want to add your own background.
