Well. That's where heavy ballistics fit on the MCII and lots of mechs fit lasers where vents are.

Not really a request, but a suggestion (to add to your equally long list of suggestions....): more Clan Mechs in IS colours, especially for the FCCW when that was not totally rare anymore. Think of Adam Steiner's 14th Donegal Guards e.g.; a third of their Mechs were Clan.
