Here's my latest effort, a Centurion painted in my merc corp's colours. I'm thinking my next project will be a Solaris paint scheme, something really bright and colorful.

An older, little rusty, battletorn Centurion, still proud as ever and admired for his endurance
This makes me feel like I'm looking at an old pickup truck. It is not a shiny, cutting edge SUT (Sport Utility Truck) but it can be depended on to do what it is designed to do every time. I think it's beautiful.

I was hoping someone would do a Gray Death Legion varient Catapult...
I saw the Atlas done up and started hoping!
Done. Using of course Hayden's great template work.
Hope it meets adequate standards as this is my first 2 tone camouflage work.

Thanks. That'd be cool. It'd be an honor even if only one feature of that Urbie would inspire FD in an eventual official UrbanMech design.
What would also be cool would be for any of us to look closely at 'Mech skins in-game and recognize some repaint schemes we have done!

If I understand the process correctly, FD's concept art gets handed to the 3D modellers, who then render it in 3D form. The renders then get handed to the animators, who give it life and put it in the game. So, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for fan created concept art to end up in the game. Or, maybe I'm oversimplifying things, I dunno, lol.
I'm also really curious about what kind of 'Mech paint options we'll have when MWO is released (camo/colour schemes, insignia, decals, etc.). I think having singular unit colours is important. It's a big part of BT lore, and also a point of pride, not to mention distinguishing allied units in the fog of war and helping to prevent "friendly fire" incidents.

Beefier is better as far as Urbie legs go! Done. And poor Urbie lost the arms race in this concept. So he's picking up on weaker than himself. Enjoy!
EDIT: Note the toes are adjustable so they can line up to the 'slipper' in Urban mode or spread out if terrain demands it.

Edit: The only suggestion I can make is to make the shoulders slightly wider, so the guns aren't as close to the torso. With the legs being bigger and bulkier now, I think making the shoulders bulkier would balance it out. Just a bit, not much.

Thanks in advance. You're also making me realize that I should share the Yen Lo Wang modified Centurion template I made. It'd need a bit of clean-up but it could be ready in a few days. Anyone interested?
