I really like the music he had on demo reel. Anything like the orignal mechwarrior game is cool. Guitars and war drums for the win. Right now im listening to the batman begins soundtrack which actually works quite well with mechwarrior beta LOL

Think of it like this... If a mech was a real machine, and you where standing in a street, there would be a 200,000 lbs walking building moving, shooting PPC like in transformers 1 at the begining of the movie when the air base gets attacked. Find that feel, and roll with it.

Hi all,

I haven't forgotten about this project, however I am working on something for a client right now. Updates may be a bit slower, but they will come! I'm thinking of starting from scratch and coming up with a faster "battle"-paced piece.

First of... i really like what you done sofar and hope to hear the final version some time in the future.
Having said that i would liek to suggest and as inspiration.
And yes I know both are from Movies about Subs....
I have this memory of my time in the Swedish navy when we were leaving the harbor on a sub hunting drill, we left at dawn with some fogbanks still on the water and with Das Boot blaring from our loudspeakers.... It was bloody epic, and also it made the sub crew leaving the harbor a bit nervous anyway that is the feeling i like in gaming music that epic feel that gets the blood pumping.

A quick update so you know I'm not dead:

I've decided to drop the first version for now and make a faster-paced "battle" song that could potentially be played during combat (not necessarily suggesting that there should be in-game music at such a time, but just for fun). Once I've got about a minute and a half of audio ironed out I'll post it. Stay tuned!
