Paul...

While I realize you don't know me from Adam, and I likewise you, that in the grand scheme of things is irrelevant...

That said, I would like to discuss a trade agreement regarding my very attractive wife ( Who coincidentally has a clean federal record and can travel into and out of Canada with impunity via Wisconsin) and an opportunity for me to share with you and the rest of your PGI staff the play-testing enjoyment of MWO.

No, I have not discussed this potential transaction with her however this is Friday and that means baked fish, so I would not be missing her this evening and I am making a broad assumption regarding your marital status... Again, inconsequential considering the superficial benefits to both parties (Mostly me).

I suggest we move quickly on this offer before she gets wind of this and breaks my fingers, thus rendering me incapable of completely enjoying this opportunity...

While I realize all this might make you uncomfortable, understand that my wife only wants for me what makes me happy... so we're all good! :D

Your move good sir... times a'wasting!

I just spit rootbeer all over all 3 of my screens reading this. hahahhaha

But... if a noodle forever remains wet, how does fire get to burning it? I am the PERSISTENT wet noodle! Sure, in real world, once the water evaporates from prolonged heat, the noodle begins to burn.

No, sir! Until you have Mr. Wizard (RIP) or Bill Nye the Science Guy disprove the your "Hydrated Enriched Flour Product Ignition Theory", then I must say GOOD DAY to you!

Ok, the temperature at which a substance 'burns' is not the same as burning. For a substance to be able to burn, oxygen must be present in sufficient quantites(specific to the mass and chemical characteristics per substance) in order to produce the self replicating phenomenon known as fire. The process by which a given substance goes from whole to ash involving this phenomenon is called burning. However, given an underwater acetalyne torch any submerged or merely 'wet' pasta can be 'burned'.

But if you must mix blowtorches and pasta, I'd recommend this is a close as you should get: http://www.lifewhile...558/detail.html
When it comes to pasta, its all about the sauce anyways.

As for the persistent wet noodle, be what you know best. Just watch out for the persistent underwater blowtorch.

Nice lookin setup Dihm... and yes I am wondering is there widescreen support?

And if you guys are wondering the eyefinity/nvidia surround really isnt that expensive anymore..... well for nvidia if you have a sli capable motherboard its not super expensive.

I made my wifes puter an eyefinity setup for less then $600 and its an old phenom+ processor.. you know the first ones that had the fix for the TLB errata

Have we tried the game with 3 monitors? Yes. Was it cool? Yes. Did it cause any rendering performance hits? Yes. Are we gonna support it at launch? None of your business.

Eyefinity and 3D support aren't as free as everyone seems to think they are. :)

That aside... today's playtest was Atlaspolooza! I was kinda let down that these light mech Atlases walked so slow compared to the heavy Jenners.

Dave B still has some tuning to do to make it feel right when you have a map packed with Atlases... Atlussi...Atlas'z.... and all you see is salvo after salvo of LRM's dropping down on the battlefield. LOS and the new bits and bobs that were added are really working out well. We're well on our way to having some really cool stuff to show off in a few weeks time. :)

3 people in testlab: "I killed that Atlas!!" "I helped!!" "I helped too!!!"
Paul: "All 3 of you can go screw your hats!!!!" *flips table and storms off*
