Though I would highly recommend that we do nothing to indicate who is in the command structure.

Probably a very wise choice, otherwise our opponents would just find out what mechs our commanders preferred and targeted them. Rabbit when you figure it out it would probably be best to send it out thru PMs

Or we could discuss it on our forums in the Member's Only sections, basically the "Updates" section. That way instead of Him needing to send Mutiple PMs to All of us about who is which role, we can see there who is before who and who comes after. That way we aren't sitting there trying to regroup mid battle, and all we need is Aff on the quiaff if lead is down. Then it becomes the matter of the next in command simple taking note of the situation and positioning of the rest of the lance/lances, and taking action to make sure we are adhering to the plan. Well, that is if our lances are not "assimilated" into the Forces that we are assisting. In which case we would end up under their control, in that possibility.

I am hoping that we can field enough that we wont have to worry about being Assimiliated .. unless we know the group that we would be teaming up with.

The problem is primarily our style of combat, it is not a typical mech style of combat. So i would wait until we get a bit familiar with other units and such before we attempt to group in with them, though the shield wall fellows seem fairly fun and I am fairly sure that we can adjust to handle their style of combat ... which seems to be more of a chaaaarge! style lol (good for distractions xD)

So over the next few days keep an eye on our mother site as i set things up and adjust our structure. as always it will be posted in the updates section. As well as something new that i have been working on :(

Well, if you want feel free to throw me in there... I tend to do that whenever I play singleplayer or team matchs usually... unless its a small map, then I'm just running my Cat through the streets with Quad SRM6s and 4 MLas

I am currently trying to find lights and mediums that could be missile boats or general long range direct fire support for this time frame.

yeah this time frame in the light catagory you where pretty much looking at the jenner and a few others as back ups like the wasp most of the missile boats where heavy classes, a few of the mediums COULD swing missile boat, but you would be talking a serious armor drop and some major revamping, and even then they may not make very good missile boats :(

That's why I am also looking for direct fire support mechs with PPCs or Gauss Rifle... The Hallander light and MKII Medium would be perfect for direct fire support mechs.

The Hallander Light is also not that bad with its Gauss. Its also very very fast and can hit targets out side most other mechs weapons range.
