Alright, guys, let 'em know what your favorite 'Mechs are.

I'm putting in a vote for the sneaky Javelin, especially the Fire Javelin variant.

Well, if it is a light mech, I might as well choose a scout, and for a scout, I'll choose an Ostscout.
No better option, with all the sensor suite. If you can afford it, and don't mind staying away from the fighting.

Neither the Raven or Wolfhound were actually seen until 3028.

I cut my teeth with this game playing Crescent Hawk's Inception for the PC, so I am going with the Wasp. Although, if the Chameleon is available I will go with that *wink*!

I am genuinely surprised that UrbanMech is not getting any love in this thread... unfortunate.

I liked the Raven...it has some pretty nasty electronics on board.

I like the locust's mix of mobility and firepower. It has nasty lasers and provides a nice speed to escape and evade with. The Jenner seems the most popular. Its my second choice. Fantastic mobility, Jump Jets, but a lack of firepower is what keeps me from voting for it.

Urbanmech it's like an Argo mech refitted for combat. The only good thing about the Urban mech is you can remove the AC10 and put a water cannon on it for riot control. Which if I saw a giant 20 Ton mech firing a water hose at me I'd run.

I like them all, but the Ostscout is the one mech, that can surprise your opponent the most.

Tabeltop perspective: Most would choose a Spider over a 'scout because of the extra firepower. But the 'scout has better heat menagment, a few armor plates extra and a bigger foot.
Roleplaying perspective: The tabeltop advantages plus the extra sensory equipment. And... it can keep fighting and stay cold with an engine hit if you don't jump. Good for the beer in the fridge.

The Panther with his PPC brought me a lot of advantages with Battletech Tabletop :-)

JR7-F Fire Jenner for me. Four medium lasers can put a lot of hurt on a target.

Jenner is hard to pass by with the 4 med lasers, but I would have to go with the Valkyrie for favorite. Long and Short range capable with a little speed.

3025: seems like the Wolfhound and Raven were prototypes then?
