You know, we are ALL speculating wildly (I'm just as guilty as anyone) and coming up with crazy, complicated ideas about what the game simply has to have in it. We haven't even seen or heard anything of substance from the Devs that would give us an inkling about how the mechlab will work or how teammates get selected or even how a weapon's going to look or work. And yet here we are all arguing fervently for our personal requests and ideas. You have to step back and laugh at our collective selves just a little bit.

So, this is a fun little poll to determine just how nutty (or dedicated depending on your choice of words) the devs reading our ideas think we are. Dev votes welcome and count triple. ;)

Our passion, our blind emotion and our disconnect with reality is EXACTLY what the Devs want...

Our mindless zealotry almost guarantees this game will be a goldmind! ;)

"None, because they are thinking up crazier ideas than we are"... and then binning 99.999% of them.

The remaining 0.001% gets turned into less crazy, actually playable game mechanics.

Yeah unless they don't live up to everyone's expectations - then the backlash would be of biblical proportions. I give them a lot of props for courage to make a game like this. That being said - I've been the start of a lot of crazy over the top suggestions - and I know at least some of the boardmembers have already gotten a chuckle (I'm looking at you Alaskan Viking ;) ). It's just fun to be able to interact with something fond from when I was young, with people who enjoy it too.

I think they really don't care about how golden our minds are. I think they want more our unwavering loyalty. I just wonder that by now, each time someone mentions how the weapon damage and accuracy or some other infinitely nit-picky detail should mirror exactly what the TT game has, that half the team takes a drink. Actually I hope not since that would put them in danger of alchohol poisoning.
