I guess we should just let them pick their own poisen then. I will go make sure the high explosives and other things that go boom are tucked away some where nice and safe to make sure we don't have any axidents.

Is it bad that I came into here because of an old 90s video game, and the fact that the US has a class of nuclear fast attack sub named the same?

Best wishes to the Sea Wolves, and clever use of the name until the Sea Fox is available as a Clan :P

Not bad at all, in fact, I first found out about the BT universe from a crappy done cartoon series about it when I was a wee child.

The old video game I was referring to was http://en.wikipedia..../SSN-21_Seawolf

Just the name rings all sorts of Navy bells in my head, lol.

Lol i knew about the fast attack subs ... though I had completely forgotten about that game lol but aye it was sort of a play on the clan name anyway xD. On the up side how ever it does seem to draw random people in too see us. Sides ... lets face it folks, CSF has never been much for the heavy assault role, but we do have lots of light medium fighters ... so fast ... attack ... works out pretty well IMO

Most of CSF mech line up are lights and mediums. Speeking of which, when it comes to tactics, I notice a lot of their mechs are based around swarm tactics like the Peranha or at least work in groups to take down their target which is very not Zellbrigen.

That was the down side to CSF was they tended to work in smaller groups, being more progressive and not as bound to the law they quickly adapted to the ways of the innersphere and took less offense at it then the rest of the clans, One of the CSF's greatest strengths was the fact that on the battlefield they could easily switch between Zellbrigan and IS styles of fighting, they where very much about treating their opponent with the same amount of honor that they where given, which meant that if one engagement with another clan was dishonorable then they simply carried it over through every battle with that clan.

CSR lost out when they introduced the Diamond shark in to kill the Sea Fox. The end result was as far as the clan was concerned that snow ravens had no honor and there was no reason for them to be accorded honor. Over the years it just became their way, this also ended up turning into a sort of honor on their side as well, while another clan would bid a star of say heavies, the CSF would bid a star of lights and/or mediums and focus on one at a time using swarm tactics.

So in a sense they are keeping with honor, albeit their own sense of honor, and they still follow the more basic laws such as one to one duels and the like. Its more a fact that such has to be issued before hand and the rules aggreed upon, and since most clans just assume every one will follow their rules its not often done B) its mostly a matter of views i think

To be honest I never really liked Zellbrigen tactics, never made sense to me. When I am in a fight I want to win. But I am mostly a die hard IS guy and will use tactics that shift the fight in my favor. The word "honor" is so... So subjective.

Did the Devs say some where with their Q&A that they will have a training grounds or something where you can test the loadouts of your mechs as well as over all practice with your team? I recall hearing that. I could be wrong though.

Rather going to be important to train them with out flubbing a "mission" so to speak so it would be a requirement unless they plan on every one sucking at launch lol
