While the Fatlas would be my choice of the 2, my true love would be my TSM Berserker. It has the strength of 3 Fatlases, the speed of a Cicada, has more guns than a Flashback, uses the severed arm of the Yen Lo Yang as a club, and belches plasma like a drunk in a brewery. It has cleaved Fatlas and Jenner alike in twain, and walks through skyscrapers as you or I walk through air. It once used an active Locust as a club, and has punted many a Stinger, Wasp, and Dasher. The BRZ-64 strikes pure terror in friend and foe alike. A masterpiece of 'mech design. Undefeated, undaunted, and merciless.

Total no brainer...

Atlas..

Why? Aleksandr Kerensky, the man, the myth, the legend helped design it.

When you bring about the King Crab, we can talk.

Atlas. ...so that it can ride a Daishi as a mount into battle.

If the choice is between Atlas or Daishi, I'd go Atlas without question. I am a 3025 guy at heart.

Idealy I would like Mongo my in game AS-7K. but I would happily settle for a stock AS-7D. I would name it "Fluffy".

as you get farther on in tech, the atlas becomes better. after all, hardened armor is awesome.

I will take the Daishi Widowmaker any day of the week, one alpha from that monster and your Atlas is a smoking heap of useless metal.

You will be smoking heap of metal too, thanks to one alpha from Dire Wolf with Ghost heat 2.0 which they will use to balance clan tech

Ghost heat or not chain firing 2x UAC20's will be deadly either way.

Daishi, it is all about firepower! :-) Tripple AC20 or tripple Gauss with a pair of support weapons made this an excellent killer working all the times for me.

Honestly i would use a missile boat against that. something that could fight at max range. means at least 4 lrm 20s. or if i want to go mech for mech, i could run this. Even if your mech wasn't destroyed, it would be forced off the field due to massive damage. and even though the pilot would be forced to immediately eject to not get fried, the mech would be in repairable condition after the suicide charge assuming no lucky shots. but stuff like this is why i hate clan tech so much...

Spoiler

I'm fond of both 'Mechs. However, the Dire Wolf has a better loadout than the Atlas. And is more flexible when in a tough spot. at nearly 60 tons, it can load up nearly every weapon in the Arsenal imaginable. Such as this:

2x ER Large
2x Lg Pulse
3x ER Meds
1 Gauss
1 LRM 20

I don't care how you call it, that to me, is trouble walking for an Atlas, especially, if that person loads up the future Ultra 20 instead of the Gauss.

I'm no assault mech pilot, but if I had to choose, I'd pick a King Crab! Oh... wait...

Truth this, neither the Daishi nor the Atlas grab me as mechs I'd like. I don't like how they look aesthetically.

Good luck with that. Last I knew, Quad mechs are not going to be in this game, at least so far as they have said. Problems with coding and figuring out how to implement the Quad chassis. Otherwise, this would be my second choice behind the King Crab.

Atlas hands down.
If I was going to use a 100 ton clanner mech it would be the Stone Rhino. SO EXPENSIVE WE CAN'T USE IT MOST THE TIME.

STONE RHINO!!!
