Daishi hands down. Your CT may be larger and easier to hit but I'd rather go down that way then shot in my big head of an Atlas.
But give me a Madcat MKII and I'll show you why both of them suck...

DIRE WOLF!!

But, I would take a Mk2 over both of them.. Unless it was an Inner City FPS match.

You can name way more famous MechWarriors who piloted a Dire Wolf than an Atlas.

Daishi, perferably this one
Alt. Config. S - The S configuration is intended for the close confines of urban and jungle warfare. The S configurations primary weapon is a massive LB-X Autocannon/20 which is capable of disabling most light and medium 'Mechs in a single blast. This is backed up by a single Large Pulse Laser to provide some long range firepower should the Dire Wolf S be caught in the open. Additional short range firepower is provided by five Medium Pulse Lasers and two Streak SRM-4 launchers. Two Anti-Personnel Pods and two Machine Guns provide exceptional anti infantry capabilities. The S configuration has added mobility with three jump jets allowing it to jump up to ninety meters. BV (1.0) = 2875[1], BV (2.0) = 2,985[2][12]

Depends. The huge head Atlas that I remember: No.

The new smaller head Atlas: YES! I have been converted.

both madcat and the daishi are great mechs, both have their good points and bad, as to seeing them in the game, we will have to see.

Sometimes it seems like the atlas is the only assault mech there is. Personally i always preferred a Banshee 5S.

Atlas for now.

I don't want to see clan tech yet. IS mech's, equipment will be at a disadvantage, and once you go clan, you don't go back (to IS).

Hopefully they will have clan balanced a year from now when they invade.

I would Love a Templar, or even a (gasp) Black Knight.

Marauder II or Behemouth for me if they are available, just like the look of the Marauder series.
