Hah, we sure riled some folks up with the co-ordinated Cat fade and some leg/head shots. Can we get that world back?

They should re-release that game exactly as it was so I can turn on all the detailed graphics for once...make an old schooler happy.

Wow, just discovered this thread and read it from first to last message in a row.

I had the best of times in Kesmai's and Gamestorm's MPBT Solaris, and later in 3025 while it lasted.

Used the same handle and run with a small merc unit called the Black Company (another outfit used the same name).

I remember other members of my unit Huggybear, Sinister, Indazone, Wraith, Boan, there were a few others, but memory fails ...

I'll enjoy this game, a lot.

Although many tried, I believe (and I could be wrong here) that an emulator was not possible of MPBT due to the hardware dependency

Just found this thread. I've been playing MWO for a little over 7 weeks give or take. I started off in the MPBT GEnie days when it was still EGA, roughly 1991. I played very seriously through 1994. Wore out several 4800 baud rate modems back then.

Was known as Siege back then, ended up being the Tamar Front Commander for House Steiner for quite a while. I liked lots of the elements of community warfare then. IIRC, I had 15 or so units I could move around (which was infrequently required). Good times and good people.

Hope this game lives up to my expectations

Joined House Liao this go around with numerous RL buddies of 30+ years jumping in.
