It'd be interesting to have mechs earn titles like you can in WoW.

Of course though if I literally see a mech named Ladies Man, I'm going to have to shoot it on principle.

I would also say this: I would be willing to pay a premium to name my 'Mech. I want to call my Awesome Bad for Business, and as an F2P revenue potential I'd most certainly pay to put a name for all to see on my machine.

Maybe they should implement a thing where you can only name your mech after attaining Veteran's status, i.e. surviving a set number of fights without visiting the scrapheap. In the lore, only the accomplished pilots would name their rides anyway, so it makes sense that way.

I have a hot pink Jenner that I use in my Battletech games, whom I have named the Man Van for no reason whatsoever. I really hope I can bring the name (and the paint scheme) into MWO. I'm all for mech names.

I enjoy the thought of getting "You were killed by Saber15's 'Mr. Bubbles' Atlas" instead of "You were killed by Saber15 with an Atlas" in after round reports/killboards.

My Adder would be Morrigan (Irish goddess of death, strife, and war. Oh, and fertility for some reason...). If I for some reason had another 'Mech - or if Morrigan was somehow permanently destroyed - then the new 'Mech would be Azrael (Islamic angel of death)
