Until something is universally agreed upon, I'm sticking with this one.

That's the beauty of being in the FRR we don't have to universally agree. :(

From my experience, a "republic" battlecry isn't exactly necessary, nor is it common. As has been said in previous posts, different units often have different battlecries. In my experience in the Army for Example:

20th Engineer Battalion: "Build and Fight" and "Follow the Wavy Arrow" both of which go back to the unit's roots in WWI
1st Cavalry Division "First Team"
1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment: "Garryowen!" which incidentally when I was deployed with them to Kuwait, we were afforded the opportunity to drink non-alcholic Lowenbrau, which we fondly refered to as Garryowenbrau.
My point being that we are different units within the FRR and as such perhaps we should have our own battlecries based on what we do in our battles.

But that is my .02 Cbills worth.

i'm surprised no one suggested this for FRR battlecry

Would make an impressive, opening before a combat.

"Tulta Manille" means "Fire at their balls." It was a Finish war cry. I checked Google.

I did, but the rest of the 1st RDR considers it overwrought (or something), and you have to admit it's a lot of typing.

"YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

...cause the FRR will be gone in just a few, short years (as the BattleTech universe measures time). :)

NO. Not only do we hang on to a few planets, eventually the Ghost Bears want to make friends with us.

Fire will rise from Muspelheim
Destroying the bonds of tyranny and war
From the ashes of the old
A new age of peace and prosperity is born
For the glory of Surtr!!

I've figured it out.

We don't need a battle cry, because that's what you yell as you rush in and make contact, you don't have time for typing then because it's the time for action.

What we want is a battle chant.

Something we do before we've sighted the enemy that is distinct, makes the unaffiliated interested, and brings us together as Rasalhagians. Here's what I propose: We have a chant-counter-chant that can be used at the start of a match when more than one member of the FRR is present (either side).

The initiator will shout: Rasalhague!
To which the other Rasalhaguians (all of them) reply: HUA!

Much like that clip of the "til Valhal" chant, but it's something distinctly and clearly for Rasalhague. And as an added bonus, you can use the chant a few times (I'd say no more than three times) then follow it up with a personalized individual or unit battle cry, motto, command, etc. Like so:

Rasalhague!

HUA!

Rasalhague!

HUA!

Rasalhague!

HUA!

FORWARD!

I like this. Very simple with a unified feel to it.
The only other thing I could think of is Screaming "Odin", then beating the head of the enemy into fruit paste.

And unsurprisingly, in these modern days the radical feminists love the phrase.
