The reason i say no=MW4mercsMektek even though mektek put all the elementals in there mod and i have played them off and on over the last year to me there just not fun. There very slow even compared to a assault in battle and they get killed so dang easy.then there is the question of they overpowered there weapons.
On speed:
They're men and women in suits of armor.
Myomer-enhanced, fuel cell powered suits of armor worn by
genetically-engineered giants-among-men... but suits of armor being worn by human beings, nonetheless.
Average human walking speed is approximately 5kph/3.1mph.
The highest
sustained speed if an unencumbered human being is ~15mph/24.2kph
The fastest modern unencumbered humans can
sprint at approximately 44.72kph/27.79mph.
An Elemental's being able to
sustain a speed of 32.4kph/20.1mph
while wearing a 1000kg (2204 lbs/one metric ton) suit of armor is actually a fairly impressive feat (even if the armor is helping).
On armor/durability:
It's a person in a 1000kg (1 ton) powered armor suit. Going up against a 20-100 ton, nuclear-powered, vaguely humanoid walking tank/robot thing with enough firepower to level several city blocks.
The former is not capable of (
or intended to) getting into head-to-head, one-on-one slugging matches with the latter and expecting to emerge victorious (or survive) with any regularity.
On weapon power in MW4:
That's probably a combination of the limits of the MW4 game engine as well as balance issues.
The
canon damage values on infantry weapons and the support weapons carried by B.A. units are indeed rather low by comparison to 'Mech-caliber weapons.

Also in a TB=team battle they gave a extreme unfair advantage in scoring just like some lights and mediums with machine guns and small lasers. We called them popcorn poppers. To be fair the only time elementals were fun was in BA only fights.IF you want you can come on GameRanger and play the elementals with the mektek mod.
Again, that sounds like a limitation of the game itself, and probably not something Mektek can fix easily (if at all) and balance properly without spending enough effort on it to have been as-well or better off starting from scratch...
