They would just answer all those questions with very cryptic answers that don't provide any new info or say "can't go into detail yet".

Will be possible to change mech configuration before entering a map? I mean, I saved Variant_A, Variant_B for one mech in mechlab and select the best for current map (before it loaded). And will be that option - "save multiple mech configuration"?

Same on Russian (I know, my english is very bad, maybe you understand better using translator)
Будет ли возможность сменить конфигурацию меха до загрузки карты? Имею ввиду, я сохранил в мехлабе 2 конфигурации - А и Б, и при загрузке карты смогу ли выбрать нужную конфигурацию? И будет ли вообще такая опция - сохранить несколько вариантов меха?

Are acceleration and torso twist rates unique to each mech chassis? Example: If I mod a Centurion to travel at 5/8, will it take the same time to get to top speed as a Trebuchet? For that matter, how about a stock Centurion vs. a Catapult? Will the lighter mech accelerate faster?

I would love for them to answer this, but given that they said this will be delayed past open beta (maybe even past the nebulous 'launch') I don't think they are in a position to give a ton more details.

However, if any of the Devs want a thorough treatise on how CW *could* work, I have been mulling it over for so long that I could probably put a 10 page document together overnight and post it here or send it directly B)

Where is 16 and are there going to be Faction Based Chasis that you can get that other faction do not have access to?

Just working with the Cannon as far as certain factions should not have this mech Chasis ect...

I've been agitating in General Disccusion on CW, my main concern is that I want a general idea of how far off I am from PGI's vision. From what I've been able to read, I'm waaaaaaaaay off thus far; but I am curious to see if perhaps there has been a shift from what has been announced to date.

From experience with previous games, its important to agitate early, rather than later. :-)

I have been spending most of my time in the [REDACTED] forums since Founders launch - so I have probably missed a lot of the main CW discussion. Have you checked out my earlier, abbreviated thread in the suggestions forum? If not, I'd be interested to see what your thoughts are compared to mine:

Is static.mwomercs.com ever going to be used again? Will the community ever be able to pull together and solve a site problem like what happened with static.mwomercs.com?

  • From dev comments on the forums and devblogs, I've come to understand that there will be some key differences in the way merc corps will be able to manage themselves as opposed to how house troops will function. Can you elaborate on this a bit? e.g. What sorts of tools will merc commanders have available? How will contracts work (single objection or signing on for a longer duration "campaign" with a house?)
  • Sensor data for targeting was relayed automatically from the IGN vids. Where does the Battlegrid come into play?
  • Will alternate ammunition like Inferno missiles be available? Will LBX be able to use standard and cluster rounds?
  • Do you prefer the Guillotine or Grasshopper for a heavy-class brawler?

1) Do you plan on have Quads in the near future or is it a long time off?

2) When do you plan on adding in the Raven into BETA? Will its Guardian ECM Suite be fully functional? And how will this effect Support Mechs like LRMS boats that really on other to see for it?

3) Is BattleMech 17 a Light, Medium, Heavy or an Assult Class Mech?

4) Will the Clans be a playable faction during or after the Invasion?
