Thanks for the link! Responded in your thread here. In gist, I like your ideas -- but they are based on what we know of PGI's plans; with premises that I find disturbing. They fall in line perfectly with a vision of House Factions being for more "casual" players, something I am disagreeing with. In brief, when I first head of this game my assumption is that mercs would be for casual play, and factions for hard-core players. Instead, I find that there is a subtext to everything implying the reverse... starting with the url itself (mwomercs.com).

It has been stated open beta would start when the game is a certain % complete. How close to this % is the current internal build of the game?

I have two questions :-

Will their be support for Track IR that would be great benefit to the game.

I know this has been mentioned before but will users/clans be able to create their own faction tags

1. Medium mechs are viewed as redundant by many since people can easily pick a heavy or assault. How will you account for the Inner Sphere weight ratios (Medium, Light, Heavy, Assault) in the game?

2. Is it legally possible for you guys to have a reseen mech in the game?

Will there be long matches (around 30 minutes or more) and are there any plans to have limited mech numbers in competitive battles? (eg maximum of 18 deployments for each weight class which have to be rationed out over a series of 6 matches)

how are workings go on at the client himself?
How frequently will there be updates, probably a "roadmap", up to now it seems to take rather long times?

When comparing the catapult and atlas video, one can notice, that LRMs on catapult were launched simultaneously, whereas on atlas in two volleys. Does it depend on mech design, or 10 is maximum LRMs launched at a time, like in MW4?

Check the atlas art, how many individual missile ports do you see?

How about the music? Will there be any in the game? Could we have a sample of one of the tracks? I remember MW3-Mercs's music and it was wonderfull!

In the pen and paper game...an internal hit on an item with multiple slots results in destruction of the item. I have noticed that a mech takes (i.e. hunchback) a hit (i.e. AC20) to an item and the item seems to keep working...has anyone else noticed this....additionally do engines break on the first hit or do they run less efficiently (i.e. hotter or less power?)....

Can you confirm that for fun the devs get in groups, drop against each other in nothing but special mech variants with all ballistics slot, load up a ton of machine guns and run around laughing?

Careful about the NDA there! Beta-related questions in open forums, including 'Ask the Devs' are a no-go (I asked Garth).

It's hard to give questions here: everything I want to know is predicated on Beta experiences.
