In which case, no one knows, I think. All I can say is...
I certainly f****ing hope not. EVE's economy is a disaster. If something like that pops up in MWO, I'm not really sure what I'll do. Since it's supposed to be F2P, I'll probably still use it, but I'll likely never pay to play.

Well, it would help (In my opinion) to get people more involved interactively, with the games economics, i know EVE's economy is a disaster. And frankly i agree, but it's not monitored from what i have witnessed. It does fluctuate a lot depending on who brings the goods in to what sector of space and space station, and some players will ask for a bogus price. But what IF the creators of MWO have a set allowance per unit of any particular item, say an ER-Large Laser being X amount of C-Bills but will never exceed the price set by the creators. This will keep the economy balanced, HOWEVER. If you have more of the same weapon that opens the option to ask for a little more then just one unit (ER Large Laser) as a single Item. But instead you pay more if you need maybe two, three, or even five of the same item. Then that opens the opportunity for the price to go up per capita (I hope I'm correct, if not. Feel free to correct me) so if i wanted 3 LRM20's the price would double if i wanted all 3, instead of just one. (So if an LRM20 was 15,000 C-bills as a single unit. If i wanted to buy all three it would come to 45,000 C-bills) Do you see what I'm trying to explain? I'm horrible at explaining things.
And it would effect the market, therefore the players will have the option to sell the weapons they don't want/need and allow them to put items back on the market and the price will remain the same. 15,000 for one, 45,000 for 3, and so on and so forth.

What? What do you mean it's a "disaster" exactly? It's a phenomenal microcosm of economic trends and habits, studied by actual economists.

It means the game Elite, which was around during the year 1985. A text based interplanetary galactic trading game. It was the first of all of the space trading style games.

Yeah...the same economists who've advised policy-makers for the last 5 decades to make decisions that have created a disastrous economy in the real world. You know...the economy that's a healthy sneeze away from permanent catastrophic collapse?
