A very cool Video!

To me the Narrator was hard to understand when the sound of fighting got louder and for fullscreen watching it would be very nice to have a higher quality option, so it can let its beauty blossom to its full potential.

I do hope we get at least battle scarring in the final game. Seeing a laser slice along a building and just create sparks is a little disappointing.

The map looks good. Still, I'm waiting for a level with clear skies and pretty colors. Why do we never battle in tropical paradises or rolling hills with lush grass and flowers? Or even some red, like lava or intense fire. So far the pallet seems to be stuck on brown, yellow, and orange.

Nice to see another great looking map. As Chou said, I'd like to see a few maps with normal lighting as well. A possible idea for the next map could be something similar to the Reboot Trailer that had a giant city with buildings that players could navigate through.

What kind of 'Mech is that firing a PPC at 2:51/2:52? A Vindicator?

Other then quality and lighting effects it didn't look like anything special. There ain't too many basic brawler chassis particularly in the recon department, and none of the Awesome's default variants are even close range. Let's hope it plays out better then the video looked.

Firing at the Hunchback? Probably a modified Commando.

PS: is the PPC being fired by the Commando/Vindicator? It looks like it comes from some mech far away that ramp.

I find the map amazingly good looking. Just one criticizing: why in MW4 and now in MWO all water (river, lakes, coast) is so shallow a mech only get its legs submerged*? I want water deep enough to cover my mech entirely, allowing underwater combat and rapid cooldown.

*I kind of know the answer... it's probably sort of a technical issue (about your view when going just under surface). Not to mention things underwater should work different (movement slower, not working ballistics and missiles, damage more dangerous, etc.).

This is how a trailer for a mechwarrior map should sound and look like.
Full of pathos, dark and gritty textures, and with a somber message of humanity being their own worst enemies.

Man, the UnderMech, I mean, UrbanMech is useless even in a map like this.
Slow at it is, it couldn't jump a single building. And it would die at the first encounter with... well, with anything.

In Mechassualt there was a map called River City, and the textures looked really similar.

After much scrutiny, ( hoping it was a sneak peak at a new mech. ) That is an Awesome with the right arm blown off.
