At first I was like "no way does the Panther look anything like that." After a quick google search my mind was quickly changed. Great take on a mech with horrible TRO artwork as many have already mentioned :)

nice visualization sir.

Bit of a ******* offspring of an ON1-K and a GHR-5R and something else judging buy the shoulder assembly and *face*

definitely needs more of a *feline* look to the face.

but still very well done.

Nice job, mate. I also think those shoulders are huge, but it's a different view of it.

I should take that picture and go "hey guys look at this work I did, you should use it."
They'd buy it, right?

Ever heard about SOPA? :) The guys in black will break into your house and sodomize you if you do.

EDIT: Forgot you have to be bothering the industry for that to happen... Go ahead then.

Nah,... FD would say you phtoshopped some of his mechs together and Paul would... let's not get into detail. Of course everyone else would be 100% sure you are not that good artsist. No offense. :o

But if you can't use this, at least tell FD that this is what a good Panther should look like and that he should do his work on this, instead of that piece of ugly junk in the TRO drawings. :)

Very cool and functional design, but the shoulders offer too much of a target for a light Mech. But I like it anyway.

loving it, excellent rendition - maybe just trim the shoulders a little but everything else is
spot on :)

Thanks guys :)

In retrospect, yeah the head is looking increasingly derpy to me and the shoulders are a bit big - would hate to catch an AC hit on one of them. On the plus side I bet the thing is stick thin approaching the the side view.

I like it, and it's very well done, but it just doesn't scream panther to me. Like what most people said, the left torso is pretty large, esp considering there is nothing taking up alot of space in there... balance it out and make it kinda feline and it'd be bad ***. Well done!

I don't like it compared to the PNT-9R/K... but... I LOVE IT compared to the PNT-13K :)

ED: Again, too much torso, not enough head. But great job with the style!

Figured it might be easier if a head to head camparison was done..

So with that said..

I can see the camparison really well.. and like FD you sunk the head into the torso (Which BTW I am good with).

Seems the only major deviatons you incorporated other than sinking the head into the chest was the "waist" so it could really "do the twist" (Wich again I am really good with.. ) and relocation of the SRM4 (which I think could have been where it was.. so don't understand that change.. but its minor)

On a scale of 1-100 I give it a 92 really really good.. Do think it needs its "Face".. specifically the mouth.

Amazed by your skills. Great paint job and finish. Very nice rendition of FD style joints. Not sure the PPC fits the style and like others I agree shoulders are too broad. Otherwise, you are a reference in fan mech design. It's just damn beautiful to look at.

Thanks for sharing with us!
Some constructive (I hope) critisism though, the left arm looks like it would be further away from the body if you were looking strait on rather than at an angle. I feel there is too much torso going on also, I thought it was a Battle Cobra at first glance.
But very well done, all the same!
