You guys have nothing else to worry about?
the wordfilter on these forums is ******** (r e t a r d e d)! For example can anyone explain to me what "special" meaning the word **** (m e m o) hast to justify censoring it?

Apparently M E M O:
"Pronounced MeeeeeeeMoe.

A crackheaded Mom who likes to pawn her kids stuff to get money for pills.

See also: Crack Mama"

Uh, the urban dictionary strikes again!
Srsly, what wanna-be-gangster uses those words like that?

However, I know why *** (c o n) is censored...

I cite the honorable George Carlin - There are no bad words, it's the context of the word that makes it good or bad.

Wow that is pretty stupid. When I was a kid I used to play the Vampire Collectable Card Game with this name. I can understand blocking cursing but when we start banning perfectly legitimate words I think we've gone too far. Are we going to ban the word Crusade next? It's more or less the same damn thing.

Word of Blake are a splinter faction of Comstar. Comstar tried to get rid of all the religious and mystical aspects of itself, and the religious types went on to form the Word of Blake. They hid out in the Free Worlds League for a bit, and then they move to Terra after they conquer it, and then about 10 years later launch the "Geehad", in which the Word of Blake did a "whiteout" of the HPG grid, in addition to being generally not nice people.

Still though, Daddy wants an http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Archangel when it comes out.

boob

hey, why's boob not censored?!?
consulting the all-mighty wisdom of the urban-dictionary I just found out that boob can also be used as an insult...

Quote

boob
(noun) (1) a goof, a ********, an *****

(2) circular object protruding off a female's chest. Usually used for feeding babies and in foreplay (not necessarily in that order). [...]

I am highly offended by this unspeakable word now! I demand satisfaction! So please ban this word in order to purify the foul language that has invaded this sanctuary of political correctness!

I don't think it's about whether the word itself is offensive or not, PGI just have to take a stand somewhere in regards to the canon storyline. And, to be fair, I'd be okay with censoring perfectly innocent uses of a word if it allowed my to expunge the travesty that was the Word of Blake Yeehah'd from my mind. Pity they didn't censor "Devlin", "Stone" or "Dark Ages" as well...

(/derailing)

Wait, they censor J I H A D but not Dark Age? That makes sense...(sarcasm)

It´s the sad reality of nowadays. All, even the Internet that is considered to be a free media, is getting more and more controlled. Knocking out Wikileaks is a great example.

Hm, that is strange. Afaik word "crusade" is not forbidden anythere. And it is kinda the same thing. :]

The J-word is not very popular in USA due to mid-east crisis. That´s why it´s banned. "Crusade" is from european origin. That´s why it doesn´t matter.

The Word of Blake has had a change of heart, they're now a crusader clan. LET THE CONFUSION BEGIN.
