I still have this book, my personal favorite of all the Technical Readouts, though I admit 3050 is a close second. B)

if it was the Battledroids boxset from 83/84 then I would feel old B)
I remember buying my first miniature a Warhammer from little hobby shop in Tucson, Az back in 1985 and paying under $2.

I miss the prices of the 80s.

Honestly I don't remember, the Copyright on the foot is 1994 HGUSA / Tatsunoko Playmates Toys for both.

I played this before battletech, goes back to 1983, Larry Elmore is the cover artist, one of my favorites from the time period.

I remember a group of younger kids playing Star Frontiers in my neighborhood and played a few games with them but even got into it.

My group played Traveller.

No... Funny tho, I still have all of that (BattleTech, CityTech, and AreoTech) and it's in great shape too.

I loved CityTech! Nothing like jumping on a multistory building to find out it couldn't support you. B)

I am old.. ok, only 42, but I still have that boxed set and cardboard figures.. as well as a buncha old figurines. Loved the game then, love it now. I started with the originally boxed set called BattleDroids. Between that, Captain Harlock, Robotech and StarBlazers.. my future in Mechdom and anime was sealed tight. Haven't looked back since :(

I have the new Traveller stuff, not all of it but the core and I will probably pick the rest up, too. It's not bad.

I know, I was a Robotech fan, but honestly liked all of the Robotech models more in battletech.
