Do I need to remind people that MW:Online was announced through a lengthy process of pictures and also a small timer? Do I really need to remind you that only until roughly a month or two ago people were calling "vapor ware" en mass due to the lack of evidence? How about "Cash in for Microsoft"? How about the overall negativity of the opening week / month of MechWarrior: Online
Gentlemen, lets be civil here. Lets give it the chance it deserves to live before we make a decision about the not even finished product and condemn it. Heck if you read what MW:Tactics was saying earlier it is very evident that today was only going to be the announcement of what type of game and some other general information about it.
Halt on this negativity is all I ask. Let it play out for a bit as more information becomes available just like you folks had to do with MW:Online. Yes waiting is hard, but sometimes I think it may be worth it.

Did you like the Mechcommander games? Those 'mechs didn't often look exactly like their actual pictures from the TROs or anything else, same with various Mechwarrior games.
Things are going to be different, especially being able to alter our 'mechs in Tactics. We also don't know how we'll be observing the action either.
Then again, I don't mind how they make the 'mech looks, it's always nice to have fresh takes on things.

Umm... it was Widowmakers who killed the IlKhan, the Not-Named-Clan just got too good for themsleves and started to stray from the Way of the Clans...

MechWarrior would get more notice than calling it BattleTech tactics.
