Else, you may wait for an invitation... they seem to be giving them out randomly, so you can wait hours or weeks, months or even never. Else, see you in open beta (date to be announced, I think).

I'm from Poland and i just Love Mechwarrior series ;d The most epic experience of MECH games ever. Not another ego-shooter more of a Simulator still really intense and fun.
Hope my beta pending won't be that long and i wish you all guys up there a good game.

Can't wait to get in to MWO! I've been anticipating my invite ever since I created my account, and I check every day. The first post of this thread was very informative, and a great starting point for players of all levels. Thank you for taking the time and effort to compile the info. It's definitely a step above 90% of the other online games around. If there's this kind of innovation and forward thinking in-game, then MWO is going to be a smashing success.

Hello everyone, I've been recently accepted in Beta testing. Played a few games, but i can't seem to find game settings nowhere. Am i blind or there aren't any yet? Sorry if it was posted somwhere, made a quick search but couldn't find it nowhere...

Nvm. found it...it was running in window mode from the start, and the taskbar was hiding the menu...

Thank you so much im a mech player from the beggining i love mech warrior and mech assault i played till the end when it was finaly shut down on xbox and had to move to mech 2 i really enjoy the post and hope everybody enjoys the game

hello i purchased the founders package with and i havent recived access to beta yet its been about 7hr and i was wondering if i missed somthing

Hello, been trying to find an answer to this one. Today I bought the founders pack after the down time and even though it says Instant access to the Beta, I'm seeing a pending status on my account despite the Founders tag underneath... Just really confused and wondering what that is all about. My boyfriend bought a founders pack today as well (before the maintenance time) and was instantly approved for Beta. We bought both from the same computer, only about 6 hours apart.

Please help! I'm anxious for approval!

At least I'm not the only one... hope that update they did didn't remove the instant access to Beta while still allowing you to buy Founders pack :S

This is really great stuff, MA/MA2 introduced me to MW and i am GLAD! My only experience of something like this is steel battalion. its definitely a change for me seeing that i dont lose balance when turning at full throttle for starters! XD I'm really confident about this game so i went legendary =D i hope i get a better feel for the game for the time ahead and bear with me since yes, i am a newbie lol. so i'll see you guys out there!

Ok a few answers for the posts here -

If you want into Closed BETA, quickest way is to purchase a Founder's Pack (they have been extended as well), lowest is $30, that's 2x plasma donation (which also saves lives, so that's like a 3-fer)!!!

Otherwise it's random, so you might be Pending for awhile (which means you have not been accepted yet).

Issues with Founder's Packs you should verify payment went through, and if it did, give them a day, after that spam support with emails (they like that) and ask politely if you can get the issue looked at.

Open BETA has not announced a deadline yet, there are some things in the BETA forum but we cannot talk about them here (sorry).

Do not post into on Closed BETA in this thread or General Forums, that is breaking NDA and you could get your access removed (oh no!).

G'day there folks.

Long time fan of the Battletech series here, and still a player of the tabletop game. I signed up for the beta a while back, but I figured I should probably start actually posting on the forums. No harm in that, right?

I'm a former software tester, so I know a thing or two about writing bug reports. That and going out of my way to break a game while playtesting it. For those already playtesting, assuming you haven't been told already, remember the following! Chaos is your friend. Do random stuff, play the game in unintended ways. Try to lose. Try to get where you're not supposed to be, try to do things you're not supposed to do.Try to kill yourself, whatever comes to mind! Lets help the devs make this game an amazing entry to the series.

With luck I'll soon be joining folks in blasting up other Mechs on the battlefield!

Erm... post this in the Beta forum, not here. No one will be able to help you here as this is a NDA breach. Also, I think non-founder beta testers can't publicly say that they are in beta? Not sure.

you are correct, and for the OP post, you have a virus or some sort of malware dectector it appears, shut all that down and try again.

(also post this in the BETA forum).
