It isn't in the FAQ, on the front page, in any of the stickies... In fact there is no-where it is clearly mentioned that the game is still in development.
Of course that seems like common sense to us forum types but we can tell that a lot of people are coming to the site and scratching their head that there is no download button.
If we look at Firefall's website, it says "Beta starts now!" and "Request Beta Access". If we look at the Wildstar site "Sign up for beta" is the first button on the screen and the caption of the first screenshot (The game is, to my knowledge, not in beta yet). If we look at TERA's website "Preorder now!" is the first banner and and has a button right under it. MWO doesn't have an accessible info on its current state of development and no real call to action for someone who hasn't been following it already.

You have a point. There should be a link on the homepage or somewhere on the website that says "Click here for Beta" or something like that. That would make things a lot easier and also less confusion.

That's a good point, I was kind of hoping that in 5 days we'd have a link to put on the post that says BETA INFO....

It's important, but dated, it'd be nice to see someone in the community update it, or we can put the original up as reference.
Let me know (I can see both points of view so I'm looking for feedback).
