I don't think you understood my post. Let me sum it up differently, "You guys are trolling. You have no way to judge which faction's players are actually more intelligent than anothers and that kind of talk really isn't productive."

Further: It is one thing to make jabs in an "in-character" fashion, but insulting other PLAYERS isn't a good idea.

The St. Ives Compact is welcome to their worlds, and the rest of the Confederation as well while we're at it. Candace or her children would make for vastly improved leadership of a nation that direly needs it. The Capellans aren't a horrible people....they've just got horrible and corrupt leadership.

I'd rather have a strong ally then have to conquer that much space, and I think Victor knew it. He was very much his father, but his mother and friendship with Kai and Hohiro really taught him what their fathers had long forgotten (and were only beginning to remember when Hanse died of a heart attack because of Katherine.)

Peace is possible with St. Ives, it's not with the machinations of the current Liao family in power on Capella.

In all seriousness though St Ives shouldn't be a part of the CapCon at launch. It's a whole plot hook that's being missed, the xin shen movement and invasion basically get glossed over now.

Among other things. Even if it's not a full-fledged power, it should either be lumped in with periphery powers or the fed-com Though I'd rather it were it's own thing...

ED: Really, the Periphery status would best reflect the situation on the ground during this period.

As I said in the original post, if they don't have it separate from Capcon for simplicity sake due to population numbers, they should at least let you guy have a special tag or something denoting that you're pro St.Ives or what have you, effectively still representing the nation.

Just think of it as taking over planets for a Confederation that will soon be run by Candace and her children instead of Candace's less then stellar sister and nephew.
