No clan mechs, please. Clan ruined this franchise, but I am in the minority.

If you are in the minority then it can not have ruined the franchise.

Even if it was a second line mech I always liked the Grizzly, then the nova cat and Executioner

LRM Catapult w/ plenty of command equipment.

Strategy and fire support wrapped into a nice symmetrical package.

The Timber Wolf is pretty much a timeless classic. I love the design of the Mad Dog. Furthermore, I'm a big fan of some of the second-line Battlemechs, and Clan upgrades of Mechs like the Imp C, and the Annihilator C.

For me it's the Marauder IIc, the Cauldron Born and the Kodiak that stands out as my favorites among the Clan mechs. Of course, one can argue if the Marauder IIc really IS a Clan-design, but still.

Ok so yeah i was going to say Timber Wolf but i think ive already been beaten to the punch, but to be honest i love the WarHawk as Much as the Timberwolf astheticly its just awsome but its agile and has great firepower and can take a lot of heat buildup.
apart from that Summoner,Hellbringer Mad Dog,and KIt Fox and Kodiak.

Cauldron born all the way, you cannot like something different after watching it unleashing its full payload at once in MW 4: Mercenaries trailer.

Definately Shadow Cat. It can deal so much damage for it's small size plus it is really agile.

I have only seen 1 other even mention the Mech but I will stick the to the Ice Ferret Prime. Something about a decently armored medium Mech running around at 130+ kph sniping away with a head hunting ERPPC. There will always be "better" targets on the field to be shot at and those sluggish Assaults make such easy targets.

You'll lose, Wolf and Jade Falcon are the most typical (boring) clans out there. Diamond Shark (Sea Fox) is more interesting than both Jade Falcon and Wolf combined, and all they're famous for is selling clan tech to the inner sphere stravags. The only thing Jade Falcon is good at is navigating snowy terrain outside of their 'Mechs.. :)

You forget, the Clans are what's left of the SLDF after Kerensky left the IS, and he left for the very reason that most "3025 - Real Men's BattleTech" fans like the IS, constant infighting and treachery. The Clans were new, exciting and frightening when they were introduced. The clans also provided a real threat to the IS instead of the same old proxy wars the Great Houses were always fighting with each other. It's also too late, the game is set in 3048 onward, during the beginning of Operation Revival, you're probably going to see clan 'Mechs, maybe not players but you'll probably see them. As I type the Clans are already invading the periphery..

Well, the Timber Wolf -is- my all time favorite 'Mech, for aesthetics, versatility, and nostalgia all wrapped up into one.
Aside from that, something along the lines of the Dire Wolf, Mad Dog, or Shadow Cat would also be nice.

...this...word by word...but I was under the impression that clans (and their tech) would not be include in the game, at least not initially.
