Gonna go out on a limb and say Kodiak. A 100 ton mech that eventually gets jump jets has to get a little respect, and it packed a lot of punch for close in fights. Plus, I just love its design. I've always felt that it was the Clans' answer to the Atlas, and could hold its own even when outmaneuvered.

the annihilator, if you can call it a clan 'mech. technically i guess its pre-clan, but it was ''built as a sign of the strength of both the star league in exile and the newly created clans''. i remember my first encounter in mechwarrior 3.

(rounds corner, weapon fire) computer: critical hit, critical hit, erppc, lrm, lrm, lrm, ('mech falls backwards in flames)

but if you want something thats labeled as a ''clan mech'' then... i like the shadowcat. fast little devil, and packs a punch. the bane of light 'mechs, and nimble enough to tink away at the armour of anything heavier

Uh my so many of my favorites come from clans, Timber Wolf don't even need to be talk, and MK2 has its charm, Mad dog, Warhammer IIC and Marauder IIC also, and can't forget Lineback! (I would say also Stone Rhino but, this guy has far OP)
Kodiak and Novas has a nice brawlers
And Adder (Puma) has a NEAT light sniper!

In VirtualWorld, I was a big fan of the Thor v5. In Tabletop: Piranha, Summoner (Thor, again), and Hellbringer.

Forgot to add the FireMoth . . . Love that hit & run mech.
