Started with Mechwarrior 3 and tabbletop BT and MW:DA when I was in middle school. Since then I've kept up my collection of mechs and worked furiously to get MW3 running on windows 7 (to no avail, then again with college I don't have a lot of time for it).

Kurita has always been my house, despite my personal respect for Jonah Levin and the Inner Sphere. I do look forward to seeing the war begin again!

I started playing Mechwarrior 2 and MechCommander. After that I got hooked onw MechWarrior 3 and Pirates Moon. I loved the books and tried to get into the table top but couldn't find anywhere around where I lived to fulfill that wish. Played as Timberwolf and Vivas on Zone and started playing with Rogues Warriors under RW_Timberwolf and RW_Vivas. I enjoyed MW4 and Mercs but never caught on with the online.

Howdy,

Zone Warden from Living Legends here, started with MechWarrior 2 and as you can guess, from such a start, I'm a die hard Clanner. Even to the ridiculous point of our Clan being Jade Wolf in MWLL, makes for fun times. Either way, dabbled in a bit of Btech, but due to lack of coherent and continuous players/play time it fell out of my interests. That said I've got just about every game released except Crescent Hawk and the MechAssault games (for obvious reasons).

I always slapped DCM paint on my Mechs in MW4 and despite not being part of the wider NBT leagues and such, I always repped the Combine in my online play. I can't entirely recall my username from those days, it was something along the lines of Sparky.

Favourite Mech? Warhammer. Always will be, always has been. I remember when I was a kid, I found a shop that sold a load of Robotech toys and I picked up the Tomahawk and bam, instant love. Then when I grew up a touch more and discovered MechWarrior and the ensuing crisis involving the unseen then it just rooted firmly in my skull, I love the warhammer.

I definitely play a combat support role in everything I do, be it rotating between short range missile compliments to long range energy load outs for sniping. I'd say I'm a medium/heavy mech pilot, Assaults can be fun be we all know if you're dedicated enough, no Assault can bring it's big guns to bear.

Feel free to drop a line/friend request/message/cookie and I look forward to playing DCM with you guys.

ZW.

A friend got me into Battletech back in the early '90's, & I've been playing on & off ever since. I became a Kuritan simply because it was the only House crest which I could paint consistently on minis. But as I learned more of the background I realised that being a "Drac" suits me. And our mech options are ideal. I played MW1 (Playstation) & MW3 (PC), but this will be my 1st foray into MMOs.

On the table-top I prefer light fast mechs: Jenner-7F (the only 35-ton assault mech), Locust-1E, Mongoose, etc. But speed isn't armour in a computer game, so I go for the biggest chassis I can afford & max out the armour. I'll leave the whining & posturing to others; I'm just here to blow stuff up for the glory of the Combine. Although I do nitpick details (like the autocannon on the Dragon in MW-T being in the WRONG ARM!). I don't have any role preference at this stage. I'll just do whatever the Coordinator needs me to do.

Preferred Regiment: 7th Ghost. Awesome paint job, & i'm getting pretty good at it.

Hi, Haven't played any Battletech tabletop games, just Mechwarrior 2, 3, 4 and MechCommander Gold PC games. I think I still have Mech4 installed on one of my PCs and know I have MechCommander installed for sure. I'll play any kind of simulation, even have a Garbage Truck sim, it sucks. LOL.

Greetings All

Devorak here checking in to see what all the hub bub is about. Apparently there's a lot, especially after this year's GDC. But anyways, I started on MW3 and have been playing all the games since, but never really got into the Table Top. Never seemed to have the time to devote to it or the cash (Expensive as hell some of those figures are.)

Loved House Kurita in Mech Assault 2, and cannot wait to put the hurt on the others houses and Merc. Corps.

Can't wait for this game to drop and to fight along side all of ya.

Side Note: Apologies for my horrible Sig, it's a stand in until I think of/make something better.

I might as well post here too since I finally decided to register :)

I am not really versed in MechWarrior, I played some of the PC games, and MechCommader. I have dabbled in a variety of games though, board games, tabletop, PC, roleplaying, tactical, strategy...

the RP aspects of a game have always been important to me, and I have long been looking for a good mech-piloting game to immerse myself in

K-wa honorable Kuritans.

My experience with MechWarrior has mostly been limited to single-player campaigns since the ill conceived MechWarrior on the SNES. I have also Played MW2, MW3, MechCommander Gold, MW4, MW4:BK and MW4:Mercs. It was for a brief stint at the end of 2007 / beginning of 2008 when I joined House Kurita in ISW under the moniker of DeathRaven. It was my first taste of proper online combat intermixed with Planetary Grinding. Many long nights were spent dropping with Hannibal, Mack, Swedish, TC, Hunter, SilverWolf, Sinthrow, Paladin, Bone, MtlDeath, Dreamslaughter and several others. When ISW crashed, I couldn't find a league that had the same connection, then ISW seemed to start to limp back up a bit...before finally dying all together. With the promise that MW:O shows in its game play I again look forward to dropping with the other members of the House and I will always strive to bring honor to the Great Dragon.

K-wa all <VDB>
it pleases me very much that i will be able to drop into battle once again in a Mech. Last time i had such a chance was during MPBT on gamestorm. Osamu recruited me into the 9th BR of BMD under himself , Blink , Awolf , ...a few others that my mind has lapsed on over the years .. my Wrath name was agony... if i remeber before i went on leave for RL issuses i was a BCO for the 9th. I look forward to many a glorias battle with everyone!

Hello, I'm new to this whole thing. I came here when XPlay showed off some stuff of the new MWO game, and I've been interested in online mechs but haven't found anything worthwhile or pratical for me.

Welcome everyone! With these many warriors and more, we shall prevail!

So I heard that player battle outcomes actually influence the game world (it doesn't have to follow the canon too strictly), and so, Dragon willing, we shall take over the whole Inner Sphere. Let us show them how Kurita fights.

As long as we don't self-destruct into pro-Theodore neo-samurai & pro-Takashi conservatives, we'll do fine. :(

Ok...which DCMS Faction is Pro-*** Kicking? Which DCMS Faction promotes the expansion of House Kurita? Which DCMS faction will point me to a line of enemy mechs and tell me "Go blow things up, カラス科の鳥の死!" That's all the politics I really care about.

Greetings fellow Mechwarriors of the honorable house Kurita. *Bows*
I have been a Battletech player for many many years, starting with the table top game. I also played the DOS and then later Mechwarrior games all the way up to 4. I also played Mech Assault, and Mech Commander as there wasn't any other Battletech for me at the time. :D
I've played a bit with Mektek and other online versions of the pen and paper game but by and large I've been out of it for a long time. B)

Just before I moved from California (in October) I had rediscovered the Tabletop game and found my old boards and even some of the plastic mechs. (The "Unseen" set even. :D ) Sure it was mixed in with my Renegade Legion Centurion stuff but they were all there ready to play, all I needed was someone to play with. I found a friend, we played ONE game, and I left the stuff at his place so he could learn. Then I moved without getting them back. I hvae yet to see those things again though I'm still in contact with him. :\

So yeah, I'm REALLY excited about Mechwarrior Online and I'm currently killing time by reading all the Battletech books I can find and playing World of Tanks. ;)

Greetings fellow mechwarriors. I have been playing Battletech, and, many other RPGS, for about 20 years now. I have played the Mechwarriors games, but, only a little. Looking forward to running with you all.

Just point me in the direction of the Davion and Lyrian dogs. An enemy of House Kurita is an enemy to the Arkab Legion.
