Yeah.... its almost an ironic thing being a BT fan. We lost quite a few since 3025. Even though most of them I didnt know too personally, they were still huge in the community and there passing leaves a void in our little group. Well have to get out there and slag a few atlas, knock back a few drinks at skippys in memorial when the game launches.

You do that, and I'll bring a case of scotch for the first round of toasts....

Thanks to Sniper (or The Sniper, as he is apparently now known) for the link. Good to see some familiar names.

Til this gets started, head over to World of Tanks.. the pacing is very close to VGA 3025.

Obviously everyone remembers the Samurai.

I'm noted for possibly being the only guy to join more stables than Baron Night in MPBT Solaris. :)

Davion: The Wild Bunch, DRAAGUN, Mech Gods, Reg Army
Kurita: DMD, PMD, Tooth of Ymir, Wolf's Dragoons, 9th Sword
Liao: RedLancers, OIs, CHs
Marik: 12thAD, General of RMD (someone actually made me a General of a Military District... LOL)
Steiner: T::BoRg

I'm probably forgetting a bunch but those are the major ones.

P.S. - Some douchebag stole my handle too, Snipe. I bet it was Legion. LOL.

P.P.S. - OMFG I MISSED YOU GUYS! Anyone down for an all-night TL BoU in Guz 2? CHs vs. DRAAGUN. I'll play for whichever team can still stand me. LOL.

K-wa Samurai-san <B>

Good to see you once again.

WoW... some very familiar old names, this is truly epic. We have waited waaay to long

We'll somehow this son of the Lyran Commonwealth found himself hooked up with Lord Rush and the rest of the TSA Fedrats years after the death of MPBT3025. Amazing how mechwarriors find one another.

In AOL, Gamestorm, and MPBT I was Col Roamer C.O of the 2nd Royal Guards. Long live the Archon!

I think my favorite memory from MPBT:3025 was facing off against a Hunchback in my Jenner; I figured I was going to die anyway so I unloaded everything while jumping over him and somehow managed to land pretty much every shot into his head on the way over... It was quite possibly the most fun I've ever had in any game, EVER! :)

You know, I have a ton of screenshots I should throw up somewhere of me and my Lance back in EA3025, I should really throw them up on a site for people to chuckle at.

I also have the two(three?) Promo vids that were shown at GenCon, a gift from some guy named Stone, I'm sure they are on utube but if not I'll throw 'em up there for everyone to see.

Think I even have MPBT 3025 on this machine somewhere...for all the good it does..hehe.

You just reminded me of something. Anyone remember, or can't forget, when Davion marched over Liao and held the whole of house Marik for at least a weekend? I remember Snowblind comming into the room and queue'n up in a Atlas, no one on the other team wanted to drop, we finally convinced one guy to do it, if everyone but Snow left the room. We did, well, I snuck in at the last second and got in a Commie, Snow dropped in a Stalker, yeah...that battle lasted a good 5 seconds. :D

long post but it seems there were a lot of players on BT 3025. Love the intro music till i heard it 200 times. I only got inot the medium mechs but I learned how to use the Urbie to kill quite a few. It was funny that the Urbie had the AC10 that had the range to kill a most lights. best match i had in it was when i dropped and had to face 3 players by my self. They were nice about it and came at me one on one. Best part was i won shot a spider who tried to jump attack me and i hit and killed him in mid air.

That game had a lot of class acts.. nothing like the multiplayer games of today though. I don't remember the intro music honestly, wish someone saved the sound files for that game. One thing i loved was playing your own music.. Every single time i hear ppk-resurrection and binary finary, it brings back memories if me trying to cockpit kill people.

Haha! I always played "Don't Fear the Reaper" every time I logged in, just to get into the spirit of battle! :)

(I may not have been the best player, but I sure as hell had fun!)

MAN PLEASE do this... I want to see some of the memories. Please post them. If you still have the beta files, can you see if you can access the music?
