My Name is Hawkcrest, I started with Mechwarrior in 1994-5 in the AOL chatrooms with the release of DOS Netmech playing in the grand counciland Mechwarrior Registries when it was run by MAC, I played the EA Version in 2001 with House Kurita, as a Tai-sho alongside Tarl Calbot, and I was Gunji-no-Kanrei in NBT 1 and 2 when it was created by Kristov Kerensky of SRM before Dark Pheonix took it over. I also was the leader of House Kurita in the MML and War!Online leagues. I have played all versions of Mechwarrior since its inception, and when it dies I moved my team to Eve-Online where we are now one of the highest Ranked teams in that game.

I was around in the good-old-days as well. Used to pilot primarily a Jenner, under the call sign "Nadrhrafn", and later as Hjorhrafn. I can't for the life of me remember the group name I piloted with, but they were just about the best bunch of guys I've ever played a game with. It was a rude awakening when I played my next online game, and found the community to be completely different, and not for the better.

Being in the Navy at the time I missed out on 3025 as getting an internet connection on a ship was next to impossible at the time, but played MPBT: Solaris on Gamestorm. I was Wraith of the GDL fighting mainly in CC and DC. Hoping this turns out to be as fun.

Oooh pick me! I was there! I never got anything heavier than a Raven, though. I was in school and couldn't play too much. I think most of us were under the assumption that the game would be released! Some people were crazy high ranking though...I'll never forget jumping into a match with my Raven just to see what the WarHammer looked like haha

Oh, and I was Kurita. Though I don't remember my handle back then...

Heck Genie charged us $6 an hour during prime time for MPBT on it's service

K-Wa Karl ! The name is very familiar . The only Davion General I remember is Kodiak.

Also remember a guy named Handlebar "I wear the mustache" . Don't remember who he belonged to . Just remember meeting him at GenCon in 94. He did , indeed , have a great big handlebar mustache.

Looks like Morgan is here. You guys still talk to Acester, Pepe, Cool Cat, Redline & Hobbes, etc. from CHs? BN or Merl' probably know how to get Starhawk. Yyrkoon is here so I'm sure Raeven will be too soon. Anyone from HoS here? Dave, Rab? Pacer from Golden Horde? Maybe Dark Wolf knows how to get a hold of Truthstar and Stalker. If we get Pacer, Merl', Rab, Wolf, Truthstar and Stalker on these forums maybe we can ignite some of the flame wars of old, lol.

I think it is safe to say that the majority of those listed have already been contacted/ already knew about it. Others have stumbled upon us in other games that briefly held our attention, I'm sure they'll eventually find their way here as well. I'm sure Merl will put the DRAAGUN website back up when he gets some time and de-WoWify it so we have a place to gather/organize.

I beta tested on Battletech 3025 as well with House Steiner, my character name was Pegasus (got taken here) , made it up to the Blackjack before it got cancelled, *shakes fist at EA/Microsoft*
