MPBT 3025 was my first beta test! Man I miss that game! I Hope MWO will blow it out of the water! :)

Player of the 3025 beta. The game had amazing potential but the empty suits at EAonline, com felt Majestic was more worthy of their money.

What's "Majestic"?

Exactly.

Truly a sad day but MWO gives me hope to revisit that awesome idea.

Yup! :) I was with the Minnesota Tribe during that and followed them around.

I remember MPBT:3025, best/most favorite game! I played both Kurita and Liao.

Can't remember which callsign was which faction, but I had Ikatu and Demongirl. :)

Direcoyote. I was with them in MW3 and MW4, but then real life happened. ><

MPBT Solaris on AOL and Battletech 3025. I still haven't forgiven EA for canning 3025 and Silent Death Online after they took them over from gamestorm.

So will it be like that game? because that was the MOST fun online game i seriously have ever encountered.
I sure hope they use this game as inspiration while designing/developing MWO. Like you, I had a GREAT time in MPBT 3025 and for years I've been waiting for it to come back from the dead.

Btw, callsign was ShadowVFX in MPBT 3025
Affiliation: Liao, then I switched to Marik 'cause I couldn't find any combat due to some stupid alliances with the Davies. =D

I liked the Battletech 3025 beta but let us not get too nostalgic it lacked any advanced functions and I believe we were limited to 4vs4 battles also, The game was mostly just a grind for money to buy bigger mechs and so on and so on.

But sure it was fun for a while.

Heh, I played the original NetMech over DOS, using a gaming network called Kali. There was a league I was involved in, though it's been too long to remember. This was in 1996 or 97.. so yeah. Been an AVID fan of the Mechwarrior series and have LONG awaited an MMO version. I was mad when they cancelled the MPBT and hope this one will actually come to fruition.

3025 beta is the main reason I didn't buy an EA game for 9 years.

Here's hoping this version is as fun.

Also played Solaris on Gamestorm. :)

A buddy and I (went by "McClaine", I believe) would tag-team using BJ-1s and chew BNCs and AS7s apart... Oh, the satisfaction... Oh, the /ragespam...

Fine times, indeed!

AOL MPBT/MPBT Solaris VII and 3025 here.

Tai-sa Hana Yuriko was the name I was under when EA killed off 3025.

I guess I should mention my callsign was ssj4megaman
House Davion, and honestly don't remember the company I ran with.. i think it was black wolves or black widow.

And someone mentioned the blackjacks with ammo explosion bug, oh man i still remember a match we had with 8 BJ's and hoping we would ammo explode the enemy =D

Started in MPBT:Solaris on AOL and played 3025 and MW4:Mercs leagues for the many years after. Hope this will rekindle the love!
