I have such a great idea for a repaint of this thing... let's see if I can pull it off.

Nice looking mech.. I dont think I like the idea of rolling around in this without some backup though.

Its lost some of the grace of the original, but it still looks like a Commando, My favorite mech when I was coming up.

"drools". Awwwwgg. Good old commando. Oh how I miss thee. I will look forward to harassing enemy pilots in that thing. Now we just need the famous Urbie mech to compliment the Commando

Fantastic! I'm not sure if this will be my scout or not, but the redesign is classic enough that I knew what it was without reading the title and still gives it a look that if I piloted it all the time I couldn't complain. Great work guys, I can't wait to see more.

Ah the venerable Commando. It is the default MW2 merc ride and a fitting tribute to a great game !
10 SRMs is fun and games if all connect of course, but hey, I like my odds. :)

The SRM has been a crap weapon in every MW game thus far due to being unguided and having limited ability to self guide by moving the torso, etc. If you have parallel shooting (all shots occur at once) instead of serial (think MW2 &4) it will help, but even then unguided munitions are a crap shoot at best.

If they use limited locking for SRM's it might help, but then you need to diferentiate SRM's from streaks (when they come out). I suppose yo could just make them faster, but still.

I thik it will be interesting to see how PGI balances the fact that light mechs really are glass cannons when faced with even a large medium or light heavy.

SRMs are supposed to be homing just like LRMs. Only MRMs are unguided. Other than dead fire LRM or SRM ammo of course. So I hope they restore SRMs to their proper place.

Streak SRMs are supposed to fire only at a guaranteed hit though.

This version is the coolest i have seen so far... but the commando is the Red-headed step child of BattleMechs.

My favorite light has been confirmed! This is great, and I love the new facial features.

SRM's in MW4 were very good. They may not be straight SRMs, but the CSTRKs had an auto lock-on and are really fun to take out.
One of my favorite loadouts on the Mektek release is the Arctic Wolf with 4 CSTRK pods....... I can take out things MUCH heavier than me.

I do hope they realize they are going to need about a hundred more mechs in order to make people happy. And they only have 7, come on people, need more mechs!

There's nothing that a hundred Mechs or more could ever do... to make eveyone happy.
