I miss some features like dual cockpits,torso cockpit.Reflective armor etc.
And if i remember there was 1(2) mechs with direct connect to MechWarriors brain.

Later in the timeline the WOB made a somewhat less drastic version of the DNI interface. It still did the direct link, but just not so radically.

I think the DIY cockpit makers will find some of the newer stuff very useful... that is, if they're geek enough to be interested in the canonicity of their cockpits!
