What disturbing is that you have no idea whats under that fur suit. Beyond that its quite popular but i will continue my obsession with Cosplay chicks which I find way more interesting. :D

"And, you know, the thing about a shark full fursuits... he's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be living..."

lol, one of my favorite quotes from JAWS, slightly modified. :)

Bronies -are- furries, they just won't admit it.

Anyway, furry soidarity go! Never worn or made a fursuit... they are a little creepy... done my share of RP (non-yiffy) tho.

When my fiancee and I were last in Orlando, we were lucky enough to coincidentally stay at the same hotel as an Elliot's FurCon... total accident, had no idea the con existed before.

Kindof weird to be in the same elevator as a snow leopard but hey.

I might have been a little jealous. ;)

There was one moment when Furries were actually incorporated into the canon universe.
Not just the reality, but fursonas were characters.
It's actually how the Eridani Light Horse was formed; one writed put his SPESHUL SNOWFLAYK into it, put them in charge of a merc company that did everything right and was good at heart... Then found a lostech cache that turned him into his unicorn fursona (also therefore enabling the ponies). And he also learned magic... but not normal 'magic'; this was the REEL MADJICK!

It was retconned pretty much as soon as the ones in charge of the setting read a copy. This has no place in the setting. Really.
The rule was: No magic or non-humans (other than ANIMALS BEING JUST THAT) in Battletech.
I'm honestly at a loss as to why the fur culture needs to stick itself into and onto everything it sees. Fine, go have fun with being furries, but please for the love of all that is antitheistic do it in a more private venue?
I dunno. It rustles my jimmies. Now go ahead and wave the post away with the tired old tags of "hater", "flame", and "fursecution". You only look more ridiculous when you do.

EDIT: I am in no way caring if the thread stays up and lives to the ripe old age of 300 pages+. I have my opinion known and I thought my point was soundly placed. Feel free to civilly limit yourself to this discussion as you have so stated as your intent.

Gee, I don't know, but you got to admit, some of them are at the deep end of the uncanny valley.

Wait... What are we arguing about here? As far as I can tell every one here likes furries/anthros, the only difference is that its by varying degrees. Some people just like anthro art work, like my self and Nerts but get creeped out by full suited furries and such. Others like the full furry extravaganza. No one here is specifically saying they hate furries. So I ask again, whats the problem?

I was merely reminding those whom have posted here simply to express their displeasure at the topic going on that they're not forced to look at this thread and that they shouldn't, if is truly so unpleasant to them...
...And specifically Merovigian that the infiltration of furry into Battletech which he accuses us of promoting hasn't and will not happen, as we've kept all furry content confined to this thread - unlike all critique of it, which apparently is too special to be also confined to a thread of its own.

If someone isn't going to post constructively, I really don't see why they'd post at all, and I would suggest that posts expressing any displeasure at topics complying to all posting rules such as this one are not constructive posts.
And if you really must know, the problem is apparently my own, as I have little to no tolerance for all this whining; if they don't like it, fine, but I don't care to hear their whining.

In fact, I don't; ignore is a feature which I use and which they should also.

Is that understood?

Edit.
This is a constructive post.
As you can see.

What's got you so defensive? If you think someone's saying something they shouldn't be, report them and led the admins deal with it instead of trying to run people out of the thread.

One downside is that I often don't know what the replies to my posts are, and, having no interest in finding out...
...On the other hand you can see how silly the whole situation is.
Or not, if you're currently ignoring me.

Hah!

Now here's something you could wear in higher temperature conditions; is that a neurohelmet, I see?
