Furry is not always a sexual based community and no images posted have been sexual. There is sub community within furry that is sexual, but thats not what this thread is about. It would be like if an anime thread started up. Plenty of anime is not safe for children and as such shouldnt be posted here, but any anime that is ok should be free to be posted, as long as it is in the correct section (i.e. Miscelaneous Crap Not Related To MW Thread)

You are spot on with the BDSM face gag comment, and i agree if it was posted it should be taken down. I would also agree that any Fur pics in this thread that were explicit should be taken down. That does not mean the thread should not exist.

Unforgettably however, that sub-community of the furry community is pretty mainstream and most furries do have an attraction to those anthro creatures. That's where most of the argument comes from, which is pretty ridiculous as after that comes a whole new level of stereotypes and fallacious statements.

His argument that this is not safe for children is weak. If he thinks this thread will somehow lead to the corruption of children then I'm going to claim that all those Japanese in origin anime shows will too (Since the Japanese version of Naruto is actually quite graphic and sexual in nature, the American version having extreme edits made to it to make it view-able on T.V. in this country). We could also look at the Regular Show which airs regularly on Cartoon Network, filled with adult humor and in general not appropriate for kids...under 14? to see. They crack sexual jokes, drug related jokes, stream constant insults, etc. Bad rolemodel T.V. show. Much like The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy, or Flap Jack, or most of the T.V. shows that air on Cartoon Network. I don't see people complaining about these, for the most part.

He claims that minors are coming to forums that they shouldn't even be on without parent permission in the first place. So we could be saying that the blame to a child seeing this thread int he first place be on the Parents, not the fact that this thread is here. There's another argument we could open, if you wish. Since this thread is generally already filled with it.

Secondly, if a kid can't handle being exposed to Anthropomorphic characters, I pity them, as we all grew up with them in our lives. Past that, I could care less. I know he's aimed that part of the argument at the pornographic side of the fandom's artworks. However, you have to go searching for that content to find it, however easy it be to do so.

What about real pornographic material? He just mentioned BDSM on these forums, should I report his post for mentioning BDSM because a stray kid saw it and may go look it up and get hooked on the listed fetishes within that prefix?

What I'm going to state after this is: This is the internet, it is populated by many different people with many different interests. Many parts of many of these interests are not exactly appropriated for every place. However, many parts of many of these interests are and so are permitted. People like Xirus and the guy at the top of this page don't seem to understand that, because they don't like something and have a warped and one sided view on it means that it's shouldn't be allowed. They don't understand that just because there's a dirty side to our community doesn't mean that we're going to talk about those parts that are not allowed and flaunt them in every which way we can. We don't, we haven't (From what I've read) and we won't. If we do (Oh god contradicting my last sentence, shoot me), the posts will be removed or the thread may even be locked.

However, this thread has generally been relaxed, regardless of the certain poofons who have attempted to troll or gotten into arguments over some ridiculous legal battle that got out of hand.

Well as far as I know our Clan/merc group spin off is the only one that has fox/shark anthros nose art on our mechs.
