Victor!! That's why they delayed the announcement of the mech #16...
But seriously, I do think the Victor will be the next Assault mech.

If you want a Victor, sure, you can buy one from the Dracs... but if you want a Victor that won't fall apart at the first sign of incoming fire, you want HildCo.
It's a shame. Independence used to make a great product.

EDIT: for the record i woudl prefer endosteel on my catapults if possible just forhte sheer fact that i awlays run out of tonnage WEL Lbefore irun out of space. oh how i miss my madcat days on my first mechwarrior (as i learned it, later learned it was orginally battletech) game.

You are correct in that endosteel takes 14 internal slots (IS variety, clan is half that), but with the limited weapon selection in place, unlike in MW2 or 3, it make it more viable, except in cases where you have a slow assault mech (say a hundred ton mech with a top speed of around 54 kph) then you would sacrifice the ES for as many weapons as possible. Still, if they stay true to form anyway, ES will always be greater than Ferro Fibrous armor, using the table top information mind you.
