If she does, I'd be worried what she's misdirecting you from.

Just you wait when Juri does the 'disappearing pencil on the table' trick....

Thought about it, but i figured it would be more entertaining to poor two drinks, poison one, and see if they can figure out which one to drink and which one Juri drinks. Suffice it to say, you'd be wrong every time.

You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...

I'll watch the film whole today, I've never actually watched it for some reason.
Also, Vodka, you're up. Whenever you're ready, enter the offices, talk to the secretary and enter the waiting room. Vantas will call you in immediately after Thom responds here.
Also, I took a loose stab at what I figured a new corp would do a mission for, at the moment it's working out out at 500k/day (+50k once Jason joins) plus salvage, which is probably a little overpaid? But it is a most dangerous mission...
Anyway, let me know if people think I'm paying too much or too little.

I f*cking hate you right now.
I'm teetotalling to prove a point.
To myself.
That I'm not an alcoholic.
Had no problem turning down free drink the other night.
Now I know I'm not an alco.
But I put the end date as Christmas...

Well I'm down for whatever in reguards to Juri knowing Thom and her being a member of the Terrors... We could fluff it, that we have an extra c3s and she just stumbled into the bar. But then again I don't want to make anyone rework their post (I hate having to do that) Or she stumbled into on of us as we were looking about to fully staff our tech/medical crews. Will wait on word from Derek.

And shame on you Rogue for never watching the Princess Bride!!! No ice cream for you tonight!

Edit: Oh yeah and that is a s**t ton of c-bills, but I'm pretty sure repairs are not covered, hence the big bucks.

I'll just assume Thom knows Juri and we'll just go off a friendly partnership, no reason over complicating the relationship.

Oh repairs won't be covered - are they normally? I couldn't find any guidelines for a merc contract on Sarna.

EDIT: I really do want everyone to already know each other - I made an exception for Warder due to his bio, but everyone else should already know each other and be a member of the Terrors. Sorry to make Mac rewrite his post, but I have said that a few times in this thread already...
The post should still work pretty easily with a couple minor edits to suggest this is her first meeting the group, but she's already been hired by Thom :)

Ok two points. One Alexi feels like she is quite the Tech, and if Rogue will let me I'd still like her to be more inclined towards that field than any other. She's more of an on hands type designer or tech, still not that good at shooting but a good pilot and damn fine tech, at least when it comes to her "Wings" that is, might have to be convinced or distracted or challenged to do other peoples repairs, and they best be there at first when she does or starts. Point two and the most important. You better get some ice cream or sherbert on board that ship and quick or she tells me she's staying here :)

Also Also note: for the role players out there that have Net Flix or an affection for Anime, you need to watch "Angel Beats" it's one of the best things I've seen lately and a great concept in that they even refer to the major population of their world as NPCs. Just take a peek sometime, I think you'll find it funny and empathize with the characters and the traps they have to "overcome" from time to time. Just my two cents for a recommendation.

*Shrugs* I don't think they (repairs) usually are covered. And every mechwarrior should have some basic tech training. It would help out when you're out in the wild doing field repairs between battles that you'd help out your reg tech as much as possible. Bolting on armor, reattaching myomer bundles, maybe even rewiring some circutry. But I don't expect cstomization's built on the fly.

I'm fine with Alexi being a tech, but she is not the tech for the entire company, and she doesn't get to start welding artillery to things on a whim/similar. So long as she's not unrealistically good at one or other job given that she does both and has been hired as a mechwarrior, I'm fine with it. Thom's still gonna need to pick up some more techs though - but I suggest that get done offscreen and we just get a 'So I arranged our new techs, they're piling the gear on board now. When do we leave' kind of post. So long as it doesn't bog down the RP for thirty pages though, I'm fine with whatever he does for that :)

What would be a more realistic pay d'you think Thom? Given high danger and friendship/sympathy bonuses?

EDIT: Aaaannnndddd enter the Green Hearts. Vodka, you're up as soon as you're sober enough :P Warder, that means you'll likely be in by this evening, so you should probably post Jason's reply to Cotto so I can RP escorting you in.

The pay is good, all in all. Especially considering the nature of the mission, and the 'rumor' about a high risk high pay job making it's way through the rumor mill, other wise why would it attract offers from the creme de la creme merc units? Is there a base pay for when we're not in combat? Just wondering.

But you may want to 'charge' us transport cost for allowing us to hitch a ride upon one of the warships, if you're willing. That'd balance it out somewhat. Honestly I don't care just so long and everything is fair, Thom wouldn't agree to the mission otherwise, unless there was some fineprint he didn't see, which is doubtful. He has a knack for buisness.

Oh and once again sorry about my lousy spelling.

I'll also point out that Adrianna has her own tech, provided by Quickscell, Zoe Winchester. Again, though, one tech doesn't go far in a whole unit, and she's never been in the field before (though she knows her way around Adrianna's Centurion like an expert, having engineered the thing from the blueprints up). I've got plans to chuck in a post in the near(ish) future giving a little RP for her and introducing her character.

I figured the créme de la créme units were intrigued by Draco Wolf trying to sign on/the warships. Plus the pay. No pay while you're en route, you're getting paid for the mission alone.
I thought about charging you transport, but decided against it. Seems a ridiculously shady thing to do in the circumstances, and the RAI just doesn't swing that way.

Aye, I remembered about Zoe. How she gets on with Thom's techs is up to the pair of you though :)
