No pay, but we're not being charged either? Deal. But that being said, I wonder what kind of mischief my deliquents can get into while in transit to the op, unless you just go, 'You're there!'

Also I edited my last post to reply to Vantas wanting T to wait for the Green Heart rep. Good stuff me messing up on the time-stamp the way I did... It's kinda wierd seeing me reply to something that was posted after I posted...

*shrugs* FIAT!! :)

So should I wait till Vodka post the interview part with the Green Heart? Or should I post responses to Juri and my small blood thirsty legion?

Once Vodka gets into the waiting room, Vantas will call him in and introduce you to the new member (If necessary, seems you two have arranged an old working experience?) and you guys can have a quick blether to size each other up (if necessary), then Vodka approves (willingly or grudgingly) and then I'll bring Jason in and you get convinced/decide to sign him on.

Was working (not too hard) behind the scenes with Vodka about intergrating the JF and Tharkad RP... His character in the Tharkad one is a Green Heart who's been contracted to chaperone D and K about the Lyran Capitol. Now that Nomad/James has spilt the beans on Thom and Vekfaren she's going to seek him out and ask/request/demand that any info he had or could get would be most helpful.

I'm hoping that this could lead to DeMarkus' and Thom's reconciliation and open up a whole bunch of other RP oppertunities.

Ok now I'm confused, so it'd be Kaylee looking for the drunken ******* son? After the dance in the other roleplay, isn't 13 years a bit long to be looking for someone?

Demarkus is oblivious about the two of them have an escort. Kaylee has been the one to hire on Green Heart, being fearful in that paranoid womanly way about some p!ssed off noble who lost a bunch of money on one of his fights, or some rival from Solaris get uppety with D and picking a fight. He's sixty at this point, and not going to start whooping everyones a$s Tony Jaa style...

I believe that the Green Hearts have ties to the Irregulars, so it'd be easy/easiler to track Thom's footsteps from Verfaren (am I even spelling it right?) to Barcelona and then to wherever we fall back to from there...

@Oni Nah she's not gonna be looking for 13 years... I imagine the search shouldn't take more than a year (two at most)depending on how crazy things are going to be after the invasion. Sooner or later Thom will end up going to Galetta, Outreach, or Solaris or anyother 'Mercenary Star.' to ply his wares, and bump into somebody, who's able to abduct retrieve him.

Remember this is Kaylee looking for him, not DeMarkus. She wouldn't give up till he or his body were found. It's something she's doing for DeMarkus, that and she genuinely cares about him just like everyone else, she's quirky like that.

My plan is drop everyone off somewhere, then head off back to RAIHQ for a corp meeting. For the Irregulars on Barcelona that is. When will Kaylee actually find Thom?

I kind of like the idea of him always staying just a couple steps ahead of the guys searching for him, ie, his name pops up on some battle report, appears on some spaceports registry, and he actually just shows up on the Warlock Stables doorstep one day, sober, more experienced and disiplined.

so what you're saying is that the time of "Snow" that they have reconciled, right? where in "Tharkad" he's still looking for the boy. The tie in is we find out more about how the character developed into what we see before us today in 3063 then right? via stories, flash backs and other forum roleplays, am i correct?

Lots of possibilties, for RP and character development, I'm not a huge fan of making a new character for every new RP that comes along. I get distracted and loose focus. I've been playing the same D&D character for neigh on two decades, and he's just barely starting to get powerful. Damn GM is a scrooge with XP.

By 3060 Thom has made a name for himself on Solaris by winning a grand tournement, where he got his grubby hands on the Akuma who's pilot he killed by kicking a field goal with its head as the pilot was knocked out from an ammo explosion. True story I RPed that, what can I say, Banchee's kick hard. I'm throwing out the part where T became Grand Champ, though. We misinturpted the rules for AP AC rounds... and did it wrong. Still he won a nice sized fortune by gambling on himself to win the whole tourney, (I love long odds and the other guys Rping with me couldn't play TT if their lives depended on it. One of them had a Daishi Widowmaker shot out from underneath him in the second round.) and was approached by representives to see if he had and intrest in investing in that jumpship company and he did.

By the time this RP happens, he's fought in the Capellan/St.Ives war on the side of St. Ives, but he quickly knew that that was a loosing cause when the CapCon started throwing in Star League peacekeepers, then later Taurian and Magistry of Conopus mechs as well. And well, he has backed out of that conflict (which may have won him more enemies, possilbe adventure hooks galore!)to start his own merc op. And here we are.

:) I have been debatting so long whether character azman would be involved in the CC/St Ives conflict. Character azman should have been involved with St Ives, fitting his profile but then again he would be conflicted given his beginings in the CCAF. I'll probably be debating this till the Inner Sphere goes nova. Great character background Thom!

Thanks for filling in some of the holes :)

Also Also note: could someone let me know when the time rolls around back to the bar, I sooo HATE writing out of order.

Thanks AzMan! If you havn't read the 'Capellan Solution' novels you have no idea how brutal that little scuffle was. Which was a shame really, because you had the Vic Davion kicking the Clans teeth in on the Homeworlds as well as Katerine Steiner doing everything she can to steal her brother's throne during the same time. So unless you're a Liaofan like me, or a huge fan of Aris Sung (again, me) you've largely missed it.

Plus the 'Arcade Rangers' are just so f**king awesome!
