@Azman, a C3 lance is connected by a targetting computer relay, it allows each mech to send targetting data to the others to allow better shooting. I believe on tabletop, you get any 'to hit' modifiers of the closest mech in the lance - so if I'm at max range, but Thom is in the other guy's face, I still get a huge bonus to shoot. Three mechs have a slave, which just gathers data, and the fourth has a master, which weighs 5x as much and takes up 5x as much space, it does all the computing and sends the data back out to the other four. Masters can be linked with each other though, allowing you to have eight mechs sharing data rather than four, for instance.

No, it's simply her working off a 'tip' to be there at that time. Perhapse Thom knows of her reputation. Also decided that Juri is also a slight-of-hand artist, small time magician as it were, but specificly for practicing taking painkillers infront of people without them noticing. I'll try to refrain from doing any slight of hand IC that I could not do OOC, so I know it's physically possible.
