...they have? Jihad Final Reckoning has the first functional 150 ton Mech.

I know only about the 135 ton tripod. Or was it 150 tons? B)

I must say that honestly, when the WoB built those they really took bigger really is better, to a whole 'nother level. They topped you guys.

And I thought that it was 150 tons, not 135, though there are some quadpeds that weigh in at 125, I think, could someone check that for me, can't find my sourcebook.

It was 150 tons. They called it Ares. It needed 3 pilots to use this Tripod.

Its so ugly....

I was right too, well, partly. Sarna states it has 125 - 135 tons, depending on variant. B)

Why do you hate Dark Age so much? -_-

It is the future, Liao can even form something like Fed Com with Marik and conquer most of the Sphere, then you have Clans, periphery. B)

Why we hate Dark Age? Because teh whole story isnt good. I realy liked the focus on combined-arms in Mechwarrior Dark Age but in "Classic"-Battletech you have a better explained Inner Sphere, better build characters and soem actions that i can understand but most of the Dark Age-timeline is nonsense. For me Battletch was finished after the Fed-Com civil war.

You're right on the Ares, the 150ton mech is the Omega; it's from the TT book Jihad: Final Reckoning. Which Sarna won't have as they wait to post newer material. 27 Tons of armor w/ 3 Gauss Rifles & 2 LBX-10's. Dooooooom.
Spoiler

Do not even try to make some allegiances with them, they are going to attack you one way or another. "honorable", yeah right. :P

I'll second that, in fact I'll take it a step further.

Battletech was finished the moment Michael Stackpole stopped writing for it. The FedCom Civil War gets grandfathered in because he did most of the story pointing for it but apart from that it's been downhill ever since.

Haven't really read much into the Dark Age, partly because I was told by others, (not mentioning names), that it wasn't that great, though I think I might like to write a book on it, though can't really say it would stick to canon in the dark age, IF you even consider it canon

He obviously didn't encounter my unit *rolls eyes*, but if it was either house Liao, or Kurita, it's K, in fact, I might actually help with that, but so help me god, I am watching you, more than the enemy.
