Good question, I recon 50% larger then this thing:

Sarna specs at 1:285 would make it 9.11" long. That sound about right?

Dunno, I use the metric system over here, but I have a good grasp of how large the mapscale Leopard is.

.... DAMN IT! Now I want the ability to pilot drop ships!... which I know is highly unlikely

I'm totally fine with not being able to pilot it as long as I'm going to be dropped out of it!
Hell yeah!

Sci-Fi is never about the future. It's about the 'future' of a particular place, time and culture. BattleTech is the future of 1980s America.

Generally speaking, I'm a purist when it comes to the 80s iconography in the BattleTech universe. That said, I have to comment on how impressed I am with the artwork for this game. This Leopard, for example: it looks like they preserved the 80s trope here and shook all the cartoon off of it. It's still an 80s spaceship, but far more believable.

Wonderful stuff. Wonderful stuff indeed!

;)

I'm going out the side door, I've seen the movie Private Ryan, I see what happens when you stand in line waiting for the main door to go down.

More 80s Sci-Fi. You can't really go wrong with it, can you?

An Atlas grabbing a machine gun that looks like AC 40, and starts unloading from door position. That would be cool.

Leopard has a turret, that is wwhat you would be in control of if used in the applications I suggested... effectivily ground support that could be used for a command modual.

Full Metal Jacket FTW...
