僕は三年ぐらい日本語を勉強して日本の秋田県に四ヶ月に住んでいた。でも、日本語がまた下手だから、練習している。俺ら日本語を使ったら、習いやすいことわざを使ったらいいね。
I have studied Japanese for about 3 years, and I lived in Akita prefecture for about 4 months. However, because my Japanese is still not very good, I continue to practice. If we use Japanese, we should probably use easy to learn expressions.

I studied japanese in college, managed to make it to japan about 10 years ago for an extended vaction (had an absolutely AWSOME time) Even though i listen to alot of japanese bands and only read my manga in japanese(and still collecting several series) i am bit rusty since i never have to use anything but english here where i am in the USA.

There's a "roman"ce between each "e" (picture) and "ga" (stroke). We call this, Ero-Manga.

It's cool to post Japanese expressions if in Romaji form, if you're intending to teach people about them. But try to avoid the use of hiragana, katakana and kanji for the sake of our compatriots in the Dragon who can't understand what the heck we're saying. The Japanese forum exists for that purpose.

Anyway as far as i know every House and its adjanced Realm is multi Cultured and Kurita has German and English as one of its (unoffical) Second Languages! Point in Case: Frackencrack as a German Speaker it sounds like a English speaker trying to speak some Hanseatic Slang. In my honest opinion: Kickass!

If I'm not entirely mistaken, Arabic is also a secondary Kurita language. It'll be interesting if we can learn those as well. =P

Hiragana and katakana are a pierces of cake, just like a regular alphabet, it is the 2,000 basic kanji that kill most people.

日本語のフォーラムが見つかれました for example this from a previous post is pretty easy for me to read-

Idd. Still haven't been arsed to learn Kanji. I think I know like 20. Actually, even my katakana is bit sloppy these days, you'll forget even those if you don't keep memorizing them (or using them) afterwards.

勉強止まった時JLPTの三級ぐらいだったが目的は二級以上出来るようにしています。だがこの市内日本人は少なくてしごとや通勤は一時半間かかりますのでとても授業を取れないんだ。

Yeah, I can speak a bit, but it's nothing special, and likely rife with errors due to lack of practice or functional use.

When i was in tokyo i used it all the time and got pretty decent at speaking the language (still had probleems with all the kanji). forced immersion goes a long way to getting your brain to work on the language.

I took Japanese for 5 years in school, but I was never serious enough about it to retain much useful information.

That being said, the most important verb that you can know when it comes to Mechwarrior is "bakuhatsu", to explode!

I would actually enjoy talking in japanese during the game. Dont really get a chance to use it as i am in the US. Usually talk in japanese only when I am talking to my parents.
