If we get a few from each weightclass to chose from i would love to see these chassis in game, feel free to add your own, agree or disagree, its just intresting to see what other people would love too see when weightclasses is broken down into tonnage.

60 ton: Lancelot, speed and all energy weapons..intresting mech.
65 ton: Thunderbolt, good mix of diffrent weapons, a sturdy mech overall.
70 ton: Warhammer, well do i need to say why?
75 ton: Marauder, same here, no need for words..its all about love!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
80 ton: Awesome, not much needed to be said those PPCs is made for more love!!
85 ton: Stalker, nasty mech with a buttload of weapons and sturdy frame.
90 ton: Cyclops, great mech for a lance/company commander.
95 ton: Banshee, well not the hottest in this weightclass, but there is not much to chose from that would be availeble at launch.
100 ton: Devastator, sweet mech talks to me more then the famous Atlas i just love big guns so twin gauss is made for sweet love.

Keep in mind that the Warhammer and Marauder are Unseen. As much as we love those 'Mechs, legal entanglements abound.

We really got to be thinking about the Zeus too http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Zeus
80 tons of fat and fun, and once the upgraded Tech starts to hit in a year or so it gets even better.

And for the Heavy category. Nobody ever seems to mention the Guillotine but its up close damage potential is phenomenal http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Guillotine

Not even, Project Phoenix fixes any issues by using new designs for these mechs. Also these would be redesigned by Flying Debris, again fixing any issues.

All mechs are going to apparently have their place in the game. I am looking forward to all the classes.

I am hoping for a GHR. It is a fun versatile build that I think would be great fun in an urban fight.

in some weight classes i have multiples that i would enjoy to see and fight with.

60:rifleman- long range sniper and armor shredder
65:crusader,t-bolt- both these mechs are sturdy hitters at all ranges.
70:ceaser,warhammer-hard hitting designs that can cripple/destroy easily
75: Orion-always loved this mech
80:victor,awesome-ones a long range powerhouse the other mobile short range death
85:battlemaster,stalker- either of these means pain for the enemy
90: cyclops-love this mech as long as it is the tro 3050 design. I am not a fan of the older design with little long range fire
95:only chose right now is banshee hopefully the updated version.
100: pillager,atlas- i love the pillager mech i always have. As for the atlas i would want the version with gauss,2 LL

Not as long as they are whatever percent different from the original material, then no issues.

There are always issues. The reason the unseen are popular is because a lot of them looked so good, not because of the stats. (Though some were good, some had awful stats) Project phoenix was welfare for bad art, they didn't fix anything IMO. FD xouls do stuff with the base design sure, but why? There's still potential for lawsuits, and there are many other non attached battlemechs that could be fixed up.

I have to say my only heavies I got in TT were Archer and Rifleman and I still have a warm place in my heart for those, but with the lawyer brigade etc I will have to say I still want my King Crab

Crusader, Archer, Warhammer, Marauder are my top 4.

I know that includes some unseen but...well...they are just so iconic...I miss the Phoneix Hawk too :)

all my favorate mechs are "unseen" I really really want a warhammer more than anything in this game. I will be a sad panda if I don't get my warhammer twin PPC love.

given the drastic and well done re-designes that the MWO team have been giving us I can't see why some of these "unseen" designs can't make it in the game. The updated models are differant enough to get around the copyright I would hope.

Hey, hey let's not start in with the lawyers. Some of us in the brigade would gladly volunteer time and energy to seeing the unseens be seen again... in a scene... of some type. Damn that was going somewhere and totally fizzled out.

Truly, it is a shame though that the Marauder will not be annihaliting everything in site this time out. I was also a huge fan of the Archer (just the tip).

The Marauder (IS, 75t, 2612) and its "family":
Marauder IIC (Clans, 85t, 2820)
Marauder II (IS, 100t, 3012)
Nightstar (IS, 95t, 3036)
Bandersnatch (IS, 75t, 3055)
Rakshasa (IS, 75t, 3055)
Maelstrom (IS, 75t, 3058)
Dragon Fire (IS, 75t, 3058)

'Nuff said.

FD's already done artwork of a PP/Reseen Marauder, and doubtless the design would be tweaked further for MWO (while probably/hopefully also including homages to the classic/Unseen design).
I'd like to see what FD can do while redesigning the whole "family" to fit MWO's design aesthetic... :)

Why does that Maelstrom art remind me of the Andromeda Ascendant, even though it shouldn't?
