I would pay for an addon that let me take on merc missions against NPC's or some kind of horde mode. I love multiplayer, but after a while I wanna take out some misplaced aggression on a wave of little guys after several bad matches. A collesseum type thing would be neat.

A free play mode would be cool, too. I'd buy that for a dollar!

Just a little something to help build the credits or work out kinks in a mech. It's kinda difficult to save up 5+ mil for a mech chassis. Something fun and simple. Maybe you just wanna be able to alpha a bunch of lights and small mediums for the sake of it.

This would be awesome.

god please no!!! this is a war game with bad *** mechs fighting for a cause pushing to capture the universe. its not portal... :/ this would make a joke and mockery of the game. keep it cool.

maybe we should get them to high five too. 0_o please with all due respect think of how that would effect the mood and awsomeness of the game.

adding to the willingness to pay for bad *** paint jobs would be to pay to do your own paint job and glass coloring and tinting. as an artist I would like to do my own pain job instead of being stuck with what ever some other concept artist makes. :(

any sort of personal customization of the mechs is a great idea. i am of the disposition to pay for a game upfront, and then play online for free after that. It is rare that I would pay for any sort of extra frills. that's just me.

I would pay $200 for the ability for my atlas to give a melee coup de grais on a crippled mech / disconnect. Specifically, I after I leg a jenner, I want atlas to grab it, rip off its good leg and stab it into the cockpit. Or come up behind another atlas, grab it with both arms, horsecollar tackle it onto its back, so the enemy pilot looks straight at the barrel of my gauss rifle before I make it explode. I a streak cat tries to face hug me, I want to punch the ear right off of him.Lastly, I want to be able to knock the damn light mechs over again, then step on them.

I'd pay to be able to upload my own Clan logos, paint schemes, interior cockpits (Pending some sort of approval to avoid anything illegal).

MC only sales.

"This weekend GXP conversion is 1/2 price"
"All week Atlas variants are 30% off if purchased with MC"

This kind of stuff is the winner because it appeals to my sense of getting a deal and it means I might buy stuff I normally wouldn't consider.

I don't know if these have been said already but either option 1 or 2 or both.

Option 1: The ability to buy an adaptive camoflauge skin that changes based upon which map you're playing at the time.

Option 2: The ability to predetermine what skin your mech uses on each map.

Strafing. Seriously, If I had strafing movement, it would change my view of this game from "Eh, after I finish my daily stuff on that Avengers game on Facebook" to "Shut up and take my money!" I don't even need it to be faster side to side movement, just an automated subprocess that turns my legs sideways, increases throttle, then when I let up, turns them back forward and returns throttle to it's previous position...

Otherwise, yeah, mech slots and single player missions would get a few bucks from me from time to time.

Another thing I'd pay real money for is the ability to build custom mechs from the ground up. Not unbalanced stuff like clan tech, just... pick a torso, a head, a right arm, a left arm, and a pair of legs, bolt it all together and assign some hardpoints then put it in the mech bay to apply finishing touches like loadout. One thing I loved about battletech was designing my own mech builds. Something I loved about City of Heroes was designing the appearance of my own superhero. I'd love to be able to merge those two experiences in making my own mechs. That would be the kind of thing that gets me asking about subscription pricing.

A "Wide Load" bumper sticker for a Catapult's posterior.

Not a little bumper-sticker, either. Big. Wide.

I would pay for the ability to have control over the match-making process. Specifically, setting up 8 vs 8 battles with no randoms

Specifically I would pay for "Hero" Mechs like Yen-lo-Wang or Prometheus or "Hero" versions of Stock Mechs that just have cool paint schemes and such but earn more XP and C-Bills. I like the idea of paying for Custom decals or Custom imagery on Mechs. I like how in some of the source books people "Write" Stuff on their Mechs and or put stuff like "Head Hunter" with a "Heads" ie kills next to it.

I will pay for the first Timberwolf that appeared. Hell, i'll pay for any clan mech with their original names displayed in the HUD. I cannot stand the IS names since mech3.
